A lot of things I've seen so far seem to be pulled almost directly from the first volume of USM; Pete excelling at basketball, testing his web fluid in the basement, fighting Flash at school, even defending his high school from a villain (only replace GG with Lizard). I re-read the first volume today and was quite surprised.

Haha...now people are confused by the cheese because they didnt think it would be in the film so they rationalize their confusion by comparing it to something they feel is worse. Hahaha how sad.

Peter Parker dents a football field goal by throwing a ball at it 100 yards away. "Well at least he didn't dance like Raimi made Peter."

Hahahaha

Now how can you compare a dent on a football field goal that takes less than 2 seconds with a full dance sequence/montage that lasts for more than one minute and a half?

Load the first one, basketball btw Pete and Flash, Garfield is hilarious, it looks so good.

Raimi was awful with the high school scenes....and I am thinking Webb is as well. Did not enjoy that scene.

thats not confirmed at all i an legend...and i still have faith that they arent THAT DUMB to put something as ******ed as that in the movie...the basketball goal is one thing...the goal post scene would be cringe worthy.

Testing his web fliud makes more sense in this movie since he has made it through experiments,When did he excel in basketball in the first movie?
Also when did Goblin attack his school?

Color me surprised, but hey I guess it can't be funny to everyone. This is the kind of clip that's very indicative, Andy is amazing, all those subtle facial expressions, cocky, arrogant, perfect.

And the slo mo on the dunk is just great stuff, Webb is definitely gifted at visual comedy.

Look back through the Spidey boards and you'll find out that I enjoyed that chase clip. I may not be all positive to these clips, because, well, I didn't enjoy most of them, but still....that's what you say? Do I have to be extremely positive over EVERY clip?

So I can't have doubts that in some way Arad could screw this movie up royally since he could've ruined Spider-Man 4 and DID ruin Spider-Man 3?

I can't have doubts that there are so many feelings and tones with this film that it could turn out to be a mess?

I am, but still. That's not really the point. I'm not being biased and hating this movie because I'm a Batman fan. I just don't like most of the clips we've seen. The only scenes I've enjoyed were that chase scene and Peter talking to Captain Stacy.
