It looks great on the big screen ;)

Now that I think of it, I really think that I like the slower moments, touching moments just as much as the action, and even Peter as much as Spidey, when I just wanted to see Spidey in the Raimi movies.

Oh and this scene:

(just the music)

This scene is so endearing and I think that you will like the
reveal

I wish I heard that before I saw it  But it was still amazing and will look sooo much better in context. /question for Tim or eggy is that the extent of any bridge fighting between spidey and liz?

Yes, because Spidey has to make a choice, either save the boy or go after the Lizard

And I know some of you have wondered what line is used in the carjacker scene (knife one) and it is (and I'm happy about it) the
small knives one

God, I'm sorry, I can't stop posting, but there was also something that I love about Ben, after his
death
is that Peter
actually listens to his voice mail just to hear Ben's voice, and he does two or three times, the second time when he starts understanding how he can save people and that is his duty

I don't want to start a hullaballoo about it...I'm just curious after all the bickering: Is the

goal post bending scene in the film?

Edit: Also, don't think I thanked you for the info Tim, I appreciate it, as I'm sure the rest of us do.

Yes, but the last bit of dialogue with the coach asking him if he wants to play, and Peter answering, is not there.

It's just a little funny moment.

Oh and I think you all knew that when we saw the clip, but remember that early clip with the doorman?!

Yeah, it's not here, thank god.

Cool, that's great to know.

I'm very surprised with just how much has been cut from the film.

Also, as a side note: did the Oscorp building change from the teaser to the final product?

In the teaser we see Pete looking up at a building that looks nothing like Oscorp, but it's the same kind of upward shot. Did they film a certain building and replace it with the current Oscorp building?

Edit:

That's good...I always liked the line being less literal.

i like how he tilts his head as the lizards tail comes down, you kinda get the impression his spider sense went off

It's definitely an "oh crap, he's above me, isn't he?" moment.

Also, amazing touch having all the lizards crawling on his web...reminded me of Shed.

Rooftop kiss is actually my favourite song of the entire soundtrack.

That's really good to read. Without trying to knock the Raimi movies (1 and 2 were HUGE parts of my high school years), after one viewing, I really didn't care about the Peter/MJ/Aunt May stuff. Trying to watch those movies now, its like every scene is just there to make me wait for the actual Spidey shots. Which is a shame. I think Tobey (and Kristen) did a great job with what they were given, but the script just wasn't there to keep me invested in the scenes.

Iron Man is a wonderful example of me enjoying the character scenes just as much as the action scenes, to the point where I finish the movie and don't wish there was more action because everything worked so equally well.

The Oscorp building was redesigned in the second trailer I think and that's the design in the movie, looks pretty dope.

That's what I thought. I rewatched the teaser after seeing the current Oscorp so many times and I thought "Uh....what's that place?!?"

I'm not kidding, I could watch a whole movie of Tony Stark without the superhero thing haha! RDJ is so awesome! I think the Tony Stark moments are better than the Iron Man ones.

I'd have to disagree with you for SM2...I think it had some great character moments...if anything some of them invested me more than the scenes with Spider-man. Some of the Aunt May stuff was touching and succeeded in delivering the films message/theme. Just my two cents though. :yay:

No doubt about that.

can you give any hints or clues about the last half, does Connors or Stacy survive and is there Norman?

Re-watching SM1 to take my mind off this anticipation. All I have to say is, "God bless mechanicals." :oldrazz: In all seriousness, my biggest (maybe only) problem with organics is... why would the classic Spidey hand gesture be the one to shoot organic webs? The only reason I can think is that there's a gland in his palm which the middle and ring finger press, but if that's the case... what happens when Spidey makes a fist? Or shakes someone's hand?

High Five lol. I remember thinking the same thing when I saw it

My only question now is did they set up more than one villain for the sequel like any easter eggs or hints torwards other villains?
