As for your spoiler, its pretty much confirmed.

I watched the b roll the other day. Part of me is glad I did, as I greatly enjoy seeing that kind of stuff, however there were a few MAJOR spoilers that I wish I hadn't seen. But overall, there seems to be a lot of cool little aspects and moments that I like, including the
two finger hand stand, and his hands getting stuck to the subway pole and him running in place trying to free himself. The wrestling ring is a nice homage, too.

New TV Spot! (: (I think...)

Yeah I shouldn't have called anyone names unprovoked.

But I do find loyalty to directors over these characters offensive. Which is why I lashed out.

Why do you find it offensive? It's not hurting you or forcing you to change your own opinion. If people want to look at it from a director v. director angle, let em. It's a valid comparison, no less so than comparing writers or artists from the comics, or the actors themselves. If these people are being insulting in voicing their opinions, then ignore them, otherwise let them have their opinions without discrimination. People look at these things from vastly different angles and perspectives, and like the blind men and the elephant, will cone to different conclusions. It's pointless to damn eachother for that.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN WAS ON THE SAME LEVEL AT THE AVENGERS
Just saw a press screening and it was the most emotionally impacting super hero movie of all time. The narrative goes above and beyond anything the previous trilogy gave us. It is not what you expect and everything you never knew you needed from a spider-man film. Andrew Garfield IS Spider-Man.

Now am I insane?

I told you. I told.

Wow....nice....even after an official warning and several warnings in the thread you still want to act like a 5 year old.

Keep it up.....and you will be shouting in your sandbox all by yourself at home alone.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Is posting positive reviews not allowed?

I said people who are more loyal to directors than to the iconic characters were "clowns".

How was it directed toward you? It was directed to people who think Raimi is the final word on Spider-man and dismiss ASM without giving it a fair chance.

His point was....there is no need to resort to name calling because someone has an opinion of a movie that is different than yours.....he was saying for everyone to stop acting like children.

This is true, but it also swings, pun, the other way where people think Webb has made the perfect Spidey movie...thus skewing their opinion about the character as well. You will also see tons of people just happy they got something different than Raimi because they didn't like those films that much. There will be flaws in this movie, it happens in every movie, but those people will come in here to proclaim it's perfection at the hands of Marc Webb...thus creating a new line of director loyalists. It's a fanboy circle. The next guy who tackles Spider-Man (if this movie is good) will be compared to Webb and so on and so forth.

I will give it a fair shot. If Webb trumps Raimi then he will get my praises and I will board the Webb train choo choooo.

lol. If that happens, you gotta come in here after watching ASM and your first post should be this:

Chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga....choooo choo chooo :woot:

It's difficult not to get excited about the movie after reading all these positive statements about the film. I am so looking forward to this.

Absolutely nothing wrong with posting positive reviews. It's great that it's getting positive reviews...I like to think that any comic book movie is going to be well made and get great positive reaction from the audience.

I was referring to his "I told you so" comment that me and several others have been talking to him about. He's made multiple post about planning to rub it in other people's faces and shouting I TOLD YOU SO to them over and over.....those are the responses of a child that makes all comic fans look bad, makes the Spidey fans look bad, and makes him look bad.

It is possible to be elated or terribly mad about something without turning into a petulant child.

Eh, okay. I didn't read it like that, but can see that's how it could appear to someone looking for it.

We're at the point where we don't we don't need to rub it into anyone's faces. We're all going to see the movie, aren't we? Once we see it and form our own opinions, that'll be all she wrote, and we can wait for whatever Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield might have in store for us in the future.
There really is no need to point and say "I told you so."

Yes you are. Saying "I told you" or showing another review that would state TAS-M being a great film doesn't make up for your countless troll-like posts.

does that review contain spoilers? I mean, if not I would like to read it

The link that I sent? If nothing was added to it later on, then no, it's not spoilery. It just talks about how TAS-M is different than the past trilogy and how amazing it was in the theatre in 3D.

I don't know if this is being discussed somewhere else on here or in one of the other threads yet, but is there a TASM conference going on today?

Haven't seen this talked about but something I noticed in the b roll footage:

there is a patch of webbing on spideys leg during the final battles. It appears that we'll see spidey use his webbing as a bandage.

Yeah we seen it in the second trailer I believe, although here we can see it in more detail. It's a nice touch.

More reactions:

(When a member of the press is asked whether or not he liked the movie) "Loved it!; Saw the new Spiderman movie in NYC at media day - great film, great addition to the Spiderman Universe! 8/10"
https://***********/#!/houseofchill/

(When asked if the film is "great","bad" or "meh") "Embargo. But I'm smiling while I say that!"

Yeah, we saw that in the trailers. Cool touch.

Here's some of the live tweets I read earlier. Nothing spoiler-y I think so safe to read:
  • At the Spider-Man press conference! Director Marc Webb just took the stage. #spiderman
  • Marc Webb: Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have "magic" chemistry. #spiderman
  • Spider-Man producer Avi Arad calls director Marc Webb a "chick flick guy" - before Spidey, of course. #spiderman
  • On watching Spider-Man, Sally Field: "I don't like watching myself." Martin Sheen: "I like watching you." #socute #spiderman
  • Leary: "The first few days were getting used to the idea that these kids [Andrew and Emma] were going to steal the movie from me and Rhys."
  • Denis Leary: I hope we do Ice Age forever. Through the Civil War, the Johnson administration, until they elect Obama...
  • Emma Stone: I'm a lot less voluptuous than Gwen Stacy [from the comics].
  • Rhys Ifans: "There was no rock n roll influence for Dr Connors' character, cause you know, you need two hands to play guitar."
  • Andrew Garfield felt "more safe" filming Spider-Man's swinging-through-buildings scenes than romantic scenes.
