Age of Ultron The Avengers 2! The Official News and Speculation Thread - - - Part 49

I dont think Bruce and Natasha were paired up on the looks side. Its more that they have similar troubles and backgrounds as people in the circus of Avengers world. They made a connection somewhere. I think thats cool to see.

Mark is cute, but I see the typical hot girl fancies the nerdy science guy comparison. Nothing to do with looks, more about the typical perception of the nerdy Banner type character. I agree that a character like Cap would never be paired with the nerdy female equivalent (again nothing to do with looks just the type of ladies superheroes are paired with - the only female scientist to date is beautiful and not nerdy (Jane Foster).

I don't know - in the first Thor Jane comes off as nerdy in her field, and has a couple of geek out moments in the second after Thor takes her to Asgard. She's definitely the typical "beautiful Hollywood nerd" though. I mean, at least Banner has glasses. No one even tried to make Jane look nerdy.

"Joss Whedon's "The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" is Shakespeare plus Casablanca plus lots of powder. In other words, a lot of fun"

Cocoa powder? Talcum powder? :lmao:

Aparently, protein powder. :woot:

Protein for All, probably the best review title like... ever.

Guys if you look carefully at the hulkbuster you will notice that this thing is full of arc reactors. There are 3 at its front and between 4 and 8 depending on whether those things on its back are arc reactors or just somekind of jets for better flight, movement.

In the worst case scenario there are 7 arc reactors on it!!! But is there some specific description of it which can confirm how many are they? Or any toy or so? It's quite interesting. So much reactors into just 1 armor... Iron monger was close to its size but only had 1 reactor?!

I think someone said there were 12 or 13. I really cant say for sure.

Iron Monger would get murdered by Hulkbuster!

Hulkbuster is like Tonys version of Iron Monger with 11 more arc reactors added on.

Plus with the strength to take hits from the Hulk and the speed to counter him even. I still feel like the Iron Monger was a technological dead end. Too clunky, slow, would have been picked apart in seconds by the big guy. Gatling gun? That's cute. Tony's got lasers and lasers are probably the only earthly thing that could even scratch Hulk.

Don't get me wrong, Stane is a great villain, but in the greater scheme of things, if he had won in IM1, history had taken a different course, and it was him fighting the Hulk, he'd be beyond screwed. Stane lacks the vision, innovation and proxy to make anything even close to the HB. Or even to hire someone to attempt to design something close.

Iron Monger was basically Tonys Mark 1 with a bit more power/tech added. It was def a big clunker.

Hulkbuster is much cooler in every way. My comment prob wasnt accurate. Im just thinking of it in terms of the bigger sized IM suit.

Do you think that batman will have some kind of a similar brute suit to fight superman? If so it will be ******ed....

He's wearing a metal suit in the trailer for BVS so yes.

Batman is like: Do you bleed? Superman: No but you do *hits his exposed chin*

Yeah Jane is typical 'beautiful Hollywood nerd' and more effort is made to make Banner look like a typical nerd with his wardrobe, hair and glasses (he isn't the cute Ruffalo we see in other movies!). Dr Cho also looks beautiful and non-nerdy in photos.

Why Batman designed an armored suit and didnt cover his entire face makes no sense. Guess they didnt want him to look too much like IM. ???

LOL. I would love to see a scene with Superman trying to disguise himself as Clark by putting his glasses on in front of Batman who then yells: arrrrgh! Who are you?! Where's Superman?!

Even though he essentially is their IM, albeit with more CA-like fighting abilities.

His suit looks as if its made in the basement out of scrap. Iron Man suit looks protected and made out of top metal material...

You know, as great as the War Machine armor looks I kinda like the WM Mark 1 armor better.
