Age of Ultron The Avengers 2! The Official News and Speculation Thread - - - - - - Part 52

Cool trailer. But I think those images will be stuck in my head next time I watch the movie.

Talking about the original trailer, GODDAMN, the tone of it really is 10 times creepier than the movie was. Come to think of it, I think this is why I wasn't 100% blown away because I went in expecting a really dark film.

After seeing AoU a couple of times online, I saw that Klaw's profile mentioned [BLACKOUT]T'Chaka, and how Klaw was an assassin sent to kill him for Vibranium. And that "the Panther", as it says in the profile, killed Klaw's great-grandfather in the 19th century so Klaw took it as a personal job. And the hit was for ten million dollars.[/BLACKOUT]

Two more lol

It varies day to day with me. lol

I think those deleted scenes would have helped a great deal for the movie.

This is what I really wanted to see.

>After transferring his consciousness to the HYDRA fortress in Sokovia, Ultron builds a new robotic body for himself.

And I like what I hear about extended scenes in the cave with Selvig, that would have helped a lot for some people. I didn't mind that scene was too outside the movie.

Out of curiosity, how many times have you all seen AoU?
PERSONALLY I've seen it twice

Twice. Plan was to go see it in IMAX first but didn't have patience to wait so went to a regular showing all alone and saw it in IMAX a couple of weeks later with my friends.

I have terrible patience when it comes to movies like these. lol

me too lol right now I want to see Ant-Man in a big way.

Yeah, in the past week, my excitement for Ant-Man went through the roof. I think we are in for a genuine surprise.

Let's hope so. lol Wasn't happy at all they took so long to bump Wright

I've seen Age of Ultron four times. Right behind Spider-Man 2 (5 times in theaters).

To me it got better with each viewing. I could see people's complaints, but we really were given one of the best comic book movies so far. It's a Marvel comic put to screen, just like the first movie.

And at this point the 17th couldn't come fast enough.

Saw it twice in theatres. Two times is the most I'll pay to see a movie. I've seen it since then through...other...means.

Saw it for the third time yesterday... and it was still just as good (if not better) than the first time seeing it :)

I've seen it only once, on opening day.
Just for reference, I saw Avengers 4 times, but this year I was sadly with limited budget and I couldn't afford more viewings.
Now I'm waiting for the home release, I'm kinda as excited as I was a couple of months ago. Can't wait to watch it again.

Twice. The only Marvel movies I've seen more in theater is Guardians, at three times.

I have seen all MCU movies twice in the cinema, same with AOU. Avengers I saw 3 times though.

Whiskey have you done an AoU review? I was interested in your opinion.

I liked it well enough. Negatives include Ultron's portrayal, the super lame Banner/Widow pairing and Whedon's irritating 'must kill somebody off' routine. Also the Hawkeye business felt forced and kludged in just to give Renner something to do.

It actually seems like I'm complaining a lot but I really did enjoy the movie. I'll have to put the dvd on rotation for awhile to be sure but after 1 viewing (2 months after) I'd give it a B.
