I stopped and looked closely at this scene a couple of times and it looks to me that like Hulk might be looking at someone under him... He then seems to go from sad to very angry in a fraction of a second.

Valkryie maybe getting hurt, that is the person Hulk cares about the most on the ship.

I just hope Vision puts up a good fight before all is said and done. We still need a proper action sequence with him.
Yeah he really hasn't had a stand out scene. I guess him lifting the hammer was it.

I am wondering when Vision bites it, if he can still live on as Jarvis. Perhaps he can connect to tech in a Ultron kind of way. His body and stone may leave but he should still be around in some form.

The EW article mentioned that Vision is in pain when the Infinity Stones get closer to him.
Maybe because the Mind stones want to be part of the gauntlet or with the others. When Thanos puts the Space gem in it looks to be gravitating towards that gauntlet and he is holding it back until he lets go.

That's what I'm thinking. There was the scene in Thor: The Dark World where it's said that it's unwise to keep multiple Infinity Stones close together.

I do think Black Panther is better than Thor: Ragnarok, but I find anyone who thinks BP is "so far above" Ragnarok almost questionable.

One of the main complaints about Black Panther from even people who liked the film is that they don't think T'challa had an arc. He most certainly did, but so did Thor. Both arcs are pretty freakin' clear as day.

I was surprised Marvel had a similar plot device in both films - the old sins of the father bit - but I guess it worked well enough in both...

Its not what i was hoping for but I think Vision is dead now. Looks like this tv spot confirms that Shuri fails to remove the stone and he's gonna get killed in Wakanda

Maybe Marvel has upped it's CGI trickery game. They did it a little with Thor and the missing eye patch in the trailers, so maybe they know we expect the stone to be removed but cgi'd it in to make us think that he dies.

Feige is a tricky one.

He's definitely gonna be a big part in whatever form of the team we get after Avengers 4.

I'm thinking:

- Black Panther
- Captain Marvel
- Spider-Man
- Doctor Strange
- Ant-Man
- Wasp
- Valkyrie
- Scarlet Witch

Maybe Monica Rambeau if certain rumors pan out.

Whelp I'm out until the movie comes out! No more footage for me!

To be quite honest, Black Panther is so far above Thor: Ragnarok in nearly every aspect of filmmaking that I'd find anyone who thinks the latter is better almost questionable.

Thor: Ragnarok is just a fun time. Panther is a great film. To this day I don't quite understand if Thor himself had an arc in it beyond 'he got new lightning powers'.

Ok, that's just a poisonous, ignorant and unbelievably self-centered view to have.

Thor just had to find his place among his people, accept the fact that he can't change his brother through force, move on from his family's failures and develop confidence in his own person.

Saying his arc is getting new powers is as reductive as me saying Black Panther is about people learning that sharing Vibranium is good, m'kay?

Now, I liked both movies and yes, I liked Ragnarok better, but that's just due to the fact I feel more connected to the weird and heartful way someone like Waititi sees the world as opposed to the more grounded (but still heartful) approach people like Coogler or the Russos use for their movies. I can appreciate the craftsmanship and passions behind both projects without letting my personal views interefere, to the point were under analysis I may give the edge to Black Panther in direction and script, even if just slightly.

Saying you find anyone who thinks different is "almost questionable" is childish. Is greatly unempathetic. You're saying you either can't or won't even try to understand people thinking differently (about a movie no less, these aren't even "important" situations). So grow up. Do like Wakanda, do like T'Challa himself, and get out of your bubble.

It's kinda going around. Lately it seems Thor fans and Black Panther fans have a fanatical attachment to these characters. Heck, I believe Black Panther will get a "Best Picture" nom... thats insane but I believe it anyway because I want Black Panther to be recognized as the greatest hero in the MCU. I think Thor fans are the same. I'm just not ashamed to admit it.

Black Panther doesn't become a temporary Avenger... Avengers become temporary Wakandians.

Black Panther definitely gonna join. He might even co lead with Captain Marvel. He'll be the new benefactor of the team.

Okoye will probably join unofficially since she'll be with him at all times

Which is a bit of a shame. I mean, I still remember 2012 with The Avengers and TDKR and 2013 before Man of Steel (and for some people, even after Man of Steel), you coudn't go and say you thought a Marvel movie was better than a DC film because DC were the "prestigious" ones.

And we're seeing what's basically the same attitude from fans of what's ostensibly the same franchise.

Oh, no doubt, just a Chuck Norris type Black Panther joke.

My guess: after this scene Thanos comes to take the stone from Vision and Cap stop his hand. SW helps him with telekinesis and that's why Thanos seems to struggle.

This obviously is just my own personal opinion, but I find to be Taika a far more nuanced director than Coogler. His character work is also leagues beyond, which is largely the reason I find Ragnarok to be a better film than BP.

BP obviously has going for it social/cultural relevance and progressive themes, which can be more important to some viewers than others (judging by the Box Office a lot of people LOL). I just thought from an actual film-making aspect it was very average.

Vision could be in a lot of pain without even being in any physical danger if they adopt the books premise of stones wanting to be together.
If Thanos shows up with two (or more?) in Wakanda, that can seriously affect Vision and his mental state.
I think it was Hickman's Avengers where it was said that the Illuminati can easily find the stone Charles lost if they put the rest of them together.

I don't know why, but those spots got me more hyped than trailer 2 for some reason lol.

I’m assuming this is from the beginning when he’s still on the ship from Asgard.
