3 Movies down, 2 to go. Only Thor and Captain America left for me to watch tomorrow. My excitement for Avengers is through the roof.

me and my friends were going to do a movie marathon the day before, but I'm thinking now if we should spread it across 2 days instead and watch 2 movies tomorow and the following 3 on wednesday? waht do you guys think is better? In no way do I want to be tired or baited when it comes to watching the avengers.

I'm spreading the Movies across 3 day. Because I don't really have another choice due to work. But it's probably for the best. Watched Iron Man first on Sunday. Then The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2 today. And tomorrow Thor and Captain America.

I'm beyond stoked for the movie, let's do this already.

meant to say earlier, but that mark ruffalo interview on the graeme norton show is repeated tonight in about 7minutes on bbc1 in the uk. I missed it first time round.

Question to you guys: How's The Avengers' advertisement in your city? I guess it is because the movie is still (less than) 2 weeks away, the marketing has been a bit slow here in Los Angeles. I've only see posters in a bus stop about a week ago, and I haven't seen any billboards or bus ads yet. On the other hand, Battleship comes out two weeks after TA but I've seen a couple of ads on buses already. Perhaps Disney wants to wait until a week before its premiere before rolling them out, but so far I'm not sure whether the general public (ie not Internet crowd) is aware of this movie in my city yet.

There's an Avengers billboard on Barham at the top of the hill. If you're heading south on Barham, its on the right/west hand side. It's the Iron Man/Hulk banner.

I'm pretty sure I've seen another billboard somewhere, but I can't remember where it is.

I'm surprised they don't have an Avengers billboard up at Highland&Franklin. Disney has a billboard for Chimpanzees up. Guess they'll switch it to Avengers a day or so before Avengers opens.

I really wish the Avengers posters were better, as I'd be looking out for them more.

The wait this next two weeks may psychologically destroy me! O_O lol

I live in LA and have seen billboards all over the place, way more than Battleship. Maybe it depends what part of LA you are in?

I'd also say that billboards/bus ads do very little from a marketing perspective -- they're mostly just there to remind people the movie is coming out. Virtually no one decides to go to a movie based on a billboard alone. TV ads and trailers are 100 times more important.

There's only a couple of posters in my local cinema but thats it :csad:

Dont' know if anyone has seen this yet, Hiddleston, Ruffalo & Hemsworth on a German TV show (for some reason they decided to play the superman theme when they came out... go figure)... still watching through it so don't know if any spoilers are said in it (the host talks to them in English, so no annoying voice over translating their answers to German or anything). But given some gifs that have shown up on tumblr there look to be some possible funny moments. Some awkward moments (language barrier - I think *lol*)

Ahahahahaha I love the cringe-inducing awkwardness of the German interview, oh lord is that uncomfortable :funny:

Awesome interview. I love how they basically just go "screw it" at the end and start goofing off with the set while the Superman music closes out one weird session.

LOL! I hope the same German show will play The Avengers' theme when they invited Henry Cavill on their show next year when he's promoting MOS. :woot:

Did Tom spend the entire interview wanting to play with that turbo button ? Funny how they started doing the Superman poses near the end

That was a wonderfully odd interview. Everything just felt a bit surreal. :D

Would not surprise me in the least if he did *lol*

Did one of those free trials at Fandango to get a free movie pass, which I am saving for next Fri. :awesome:

Are you sure you can use it then? Theaters around here don't accept passes for the first week or two of release.

LOL
Key word for that show and it's host: unprepared

That German interviewer was terrible and awkward (cannot believe he said to Hiddleston's face that he did not get the part of Thor because of his body). The boys did well to try and have some fun at least.
