Earth 2 Jay Garrick is the only way to go as far as Jay in live action goes. I'd love to see this.

The most expensive TV show ever at the time and they put it up against the most successful tv show of all time [The Simpsons].



I loved the show and still feel bitter about what happened to it.

The more I think about it, the more I salivate about the prospect of seeing JWS [if he is Jay] going at super-speed again.

If he's Jay Garrick, I wonder if he'll have a costume, or if he'll stay in civilian clothes.

If he gets a costume, I hope it doesn't look like the comic costume. Which is basically just jeans and a long sleeve shirt.

I like the Smallville design. Which looks a bit like Spider-Man's final costume.

Rocketeer/Bucky-esque; makes a lot of sense, for a speedster of a bygone era.

I was thinking about whether or not I should mention Rocketeer. I was thinking about how to do the classic helmet. Which honestly, just doesn't look really good and I doubt you could pull it off in live action without it looking outright silly.

But maybe they could try to find a nice middle ground, between the Rocketeer helmet and Jay Garrick's hat.

The best superhero TV show ever made (so far ), followed by Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno.

And funny you guys mention Rocketeer, as the guy when worked on the Rocketeer costume also did The Flash suit for the TV show.

Obviously I want Jay to look as close to his comic counterpart as possible if used - it's okay, he's supposed to look "dated" somewhat, but I'll be interested to see what they do regardless if they do him.

I'm really just happy JWS is involved. Great guy, and The Flash TV show was taken before its time yet also a show so ahead of its time.

Also, Shirley Walker's work on the show, although I'm sure the studio wanted something that sounded a little Batman-lite, was awesome, every track is gold, she did such a great, memorable job, I wish she were still alive. Very very talented artist.
