I actually don't mind what Singer's doing with 70's Quicksilver....

and Kevin Smith, ave you ever considered that your Flash fandom might be a little... unhealthy?

I wonder how many years this suit reveal has taken off your life.

Maybe because The Flash isn't as big a deal to him. ;)

Yeh, the character that basically saved comics for me means **** all. Don't presume things about people you barely know. Don't put your opinions in other peoples mouths, and don't you EVER tell people how important characters are to them. You do not have that right.

Me neither I'm waiting to see it within the context of the film

Bigger emblem and some color contrast does a lot.

I'm not super impressed with the set photos, but I'm gonna wait until seeing on tv from specially chosen camera angles and with post production lighting and color changes before saying anything final.

That white emblem makes it look so much better.

I will say even without the changes you made, I really like those photos, they're taken at good angles and make the suit look good, things like that are why I wait until seeing it in action on the final product before saying anything final. That said, those changes would be welcomed by me.

Thank you for your intellectually stimulating analysis.

It's why I'm here. :awesome: :whatever:

Because it is an impossibility. You will never get a suit 100% accurate to what you wanted. This is due to the costume designers having no possible way to read your mind, or consider your preferences as the law (for the record, there are certain aspects of the suit I'm not too fond of either).

That's funny because I've gotten it plenty of other times before with other iterations of characters and even concept art. It's a lot easier to do than you'd think. Whoda thunk it?

They're also low quality. Plus, you're acting as if somehow this is a new thing that breaks the status quo. Most live-action suits all had "clear" full body shots that were set photos while the first official ones didn't reveal everything. They do this because they don't want to give it the "wow" feeling away when you finally see full shots of these characters in action. A lot of those set shots were also poorly received at first.

Yes but not all those suits looked like ****.

Umm...no. That's not "my way of taunting". But once again, thank you for your intellectually stimulating analysis.

Anytime.

I would also suggest you act in a more mature manner. Your attitude and wording implies that you are fourteen. You're bringing it on yourself. Don't act like your opinion is the sole reason why people made fun of you. It's entirely your attitude. Just a word of advice.

Thanks for your condescending advice. :) So it's not what I'm saying that has some people in a tizzy but how I'm saying it. I'll keep that in mind and try to type quieter.

Feige is laughing his ass off right now.

Right. Because the Agents of SHIELD look awesome, right? ;)

Anyways, here's hoping Barry paints the symbol white in episode 2. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't change things when the show gets picked up.

When? Just curious when you've had a suit you like.

Yup, and these changes wouldn't be expensive to do. Very easy improvement if they want to do it. Maybe later down the road. It's definitely a good enough starting point.

Well this the mark 1 of The Flash, hopefully given time he'll upgrade his suit to look more like his comic book counterpart.

I love how everyone keeps saying this is his 'Mark I' suit to rationalize its glaring flaws and shortcomings.

They go better with the over all look. That's why I like them better than the wings or the Evan Van Schrider rods.

I don't see that at all, disagree big time. They look lazy and uncreative.... and just like the other pictures I showed.

Like The Flash in the comics is not commonly depicted with ear bolts that look just like his logo so I don't understand how one can say they're such a big fan of the costume and then support this frankly goofy looking design where they just tack his logo to the sides of his head.

Probably because it's likely that it's exactly the case. Even if it isn't (and indeed, it might not be), most people have expressed that the flaws don't detract from the overall look in a major way.

Everyone? I only see a few people saying that. But you know, feel free to make **** up.

Also, as The Boy Scout said, it's not unlikely that we'll see small changes to the suit.

Because I think it looks good. I'm allowed to like design differences. I've not instantly begun to hate the comic book because of this suit. I just prefer the bolts because I feel that they go better with his over all theme of the lightening. I'm not explaining this anymore. I've done enough and you're obviously not getting it.

The bolts on this new costume look great to me. They can easily look silly, but don't here.

Yeah this doesn't look silly at all...

Haha it's funny, the old JLA tv pilot's suit even has the logo that has the lightning longer at one end than on the other except it's the opposite way... :lmao:

Yeah that looks much better than the old Infantino design...

I think suit looks OK for a TV budget, the main problem with the suit is use of leather, they should have used the fabric completely.

The other problem is that Grant Gustin's physique, he should have got a muscle suit under the costume.
