I love dat Fass, he's been my top choice as Batman for a cuple years now. But the reason he won't be Batman is because he will be busy. Fox cannot stop him from doing a movie with WB, he'll have a standard contract that won't have predicted his critical acclaim. But X-Men will probably be filming at the same time as Batman, so he'll just be unavailable.

A couple of threads ago, some mentioned Thomas Gibson, from Criminal Minds, as Batman? I know he's pushing 50, but so is RDJ.

For the record, I liked him for Green Arrow and Bats before he was ever cast in First Class. And I still like him for either those roles, but I don't expect to see a GA movie any time soon, so now it's just Batman. It's not just bandwagon-ing from FC love, some of us think he's genuinely perfect for this role. And I'd much rather see him as Batman than Bond, which is probably the other role I see him brought up for all the time.

As for Liam McIntyre, are you sure he has "the skill," Rodrigo? I don't watch Spartacus, but I've heard he's been a rather lackluster replacement for Whitfield.

TBH, he is a little sluggish in certain parts, but others he can be really good. Other things he's been in he does good too, I'm pretty confident he could pull it off though.

Andy Whitfield would've been a badass Aquaman IMO.

I have no problems with Bomer being gay, I dont care about that. I always thought Rock Hudson would have made a great Batman back in the day.

I've said it before, but I do think Bomer is better-suited for Batman than he ever was for Superman. He's got a natural darkness about him, even when he's playing a super nice-guy character like in White Collar, imo. He would be the perfect counter-point to Cavill and his natural wholesomeness.

Gosling has no interest in superhero movies sadly. He'd be a good fit for a lot of roles too.

I think it all depends on the project. Ledger turned down Spider-Man before Dark Knight. If, purely hypothetical, Nicolas Wending Refn directs a Batman reboot, Gosling as Batman seems a pretty likely choice.

Gosling has turned down numerous comic films, not just one.
