I reckon if there was one hero not many actors would turn down now, it would be Batman.

If Gosling is willing to do Logan's Run with Refn, he'd be willing to do Batman.

He'd be a horrible choice. :down
Agreed.

And I truly believe Gosling would do it if Refn was directing (and Refn would be interested in directing)...but only in that situation, imo.

Gosling as Batman/Bruce Wayne? .......yuck

i have no problems with bomer being gay, i dont care about that. I always thought rock hudson would have made a great batman back in the day.

HAHAH holy..

The only three people that I, personally, can see and would want replacing Christian Bale as Batman are Michael Fassbender, Luke Evans and sometimes Gosling.

Fassbender and Jon Hamm are my Big Two for an established Batman (and I really hope they don't do another origin). But there are plenty that have been mentioned in this thread I wouldn't complain about - Matt Bomer, Ryan Gosling, Luke Evans (maybe), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lee Pace, etc.

We're not lacking for options. Just please no Sam Worthington or Armie Hammer.

Matthew Bomer and Jensen Ackles are also top-notch selections, in my opinion.

inspired casting there

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is too old for another film trilogy, especially one starting by 2015 at the earliest.

Matt Bomer couldn't be more wrong for Batman IMO. He's about as threatening as a twig.

why no armie?

lulz. what a ******** ass excuse. either the guy is or isn't your cup of Tea, either way its fine, but there's no need to invent an excuse to downplay him. he's not heroic material. what does that even mean?

He's a bad actor, doesn't look the role, and as with most bandwagoned fan faves, none of them ever seem to have seen shows/movies that he's in, they just like him because he was mentioned for another role at some time.

yeah. that's why people like him. because he's been mentioned by other people. I'm pretty sure you're the only guy that watches movies.:whatever:

Everyone involved in Justice League Mortal was miscast, including Armie Hammer as Batman.

Thankfully that trainwreck didn't come together. It would have made Green Lantern look Oscar worthy.

i know enough dip$h!t. lol at this clown calling me out because of my post count.

It was more based on your attitude and way of posting, the post count just aided it.
