Hamm is So Perfect its uncanny
Unfortunately, Hamm's window is closing pretty quickly. Unless they elect to go with a seasoned Batman the next time out, he will be too old by the time the next franchise starts up.
The rule for superhero flicks is you either go young or you go RDJ.
The only way they'd cast a an over 35 actor is if he's already an established big name star to get people interested. Otherwise they go young.
I'm just saying though imagine jon hamm as bruce wayne:

From what I remember, he wasn't 2nd choice, but he was high up.
The only comment he made recently was that he wouldn't turn down auditioning for the role again, it's Batman; but that he loved what Nolan and Bale had created.
Older. I feel like the new series could be a loose continuation of the Nolan movies without directly referencing them. Just establish with a couple of well-placed lines of dialogue that his origin is essentially the one we already saw in BB and move on. But they should also use this "reboot" as an opportunity to tweak the universe a bit to start bringing in some of the more outlandish villains/sci-fi elements, which could also pave the way for his universe to merge with Man of Steel's, if they are still inclined to do so.Should Batman, in the reboot, new movies, be a young Bruce Wayne or an older Bruce Wayne?
Not sure what a "hard" reboot is, but odds are I disagree and you're wrong.
No chance of using anything of Nolan's films, especially since he will be the producer, and he doesn't want people using his stuff, and Jeff Robinov said it will be a complete reboot, not the Superman Returns/Batman Forever type pseudo-sequel. The movie will need to retell certain parts of the story, ie the origin, it may not go as in depth as Batman Begins, but they'll do some of it.
They have a formula that works for Batman now (explain every detail), they're not going to abandon it.
