Nice! So it’s great even in the worst case of those 3.Some trajectories from similar openings if CM makes the same amount of money they did after weekend 3:
Guardians 2: 89m from this point on: 321 + 89 = 410m finish.
Hunger Games: 106m from this point on: 321 + 106 = 427m finish.
Jurassic World 2: 85m from this point on: 321 + 85 = 406m finish.
Captain Marvel is now the No. 2 industry release ever in Indonesia with $18.5M and landing behind only Infinity War.
Wow.Deadline:
It couldn't hurt. High schools in my area are just now getting out for Spring Break and colleges/universities on the quarter system are also now off.I'm curious to see if it being Spring Break for a lot of schools will help at the box office this week
South Korea broke $40m with the U.K. soon to do so. And Brazil broke $30m with Mexico also about to. Great performances in those markets.
Don't see how it misses 400m now, should probably get there before Endgame even hits theaters.
It's not about it being "Middle of the pack" or "Mediocre" There's more to it then thatWhile I'm glad for the numbers, and I enjoyed the movie, I didn't think it was "fantastic', so I do find these holds amazing.
If I were to rank all the MCU movies, it would probably end up somewhere in the middle of the pack.
Just my two cents.
Went to go see this again and it's actually sold out. So it's still going pretty strong.
The two AMC theatres near me have like four massive stadium size screens and the rest are like half that size. This was on one of the bigger ones.
So are we sure this is getting to a billion and if so by when?
I'm not surprised, well deserved. Happy for Peele and Lupita. CM didn't make it to 35, but its close at least. The drop was good, considering the over performance of Us.
Us.
I am sure that CM went well over 35 sometime today.I'm not surprised, well deserved. Happy for Peele and Lupita. CM didn't make it to 35, but its close at least. The drop was good, considering the over performance of Us.
