I feel good about Gunn after Superman, but I like villain Max Lord. Brother Eye was a great storyline, and would’ve made a great foundation for a JL movie. Still wish we could’ve seen Justice League Mortal.
Ah! I was just about to say that, even though I don't know the character very well, I can easily imagine a film in the same vein as 1995's The Mask. Visually stylized, a little dark, with a super-energized hero and cartoonish abilities.Matthew Lillard is such a great talent. He would’ve killed it!!
Still wish Carrey would’ve done Plastic Man in the late 90s/ 00s
Terry Gilliam should definitely direct something for DC tho, he'd crush a Doom Patrol movie.Idk why I have such a soft spot for Plastic Man. I think a movie could be amazing. John Mulaney is the obvious pick now IMO.
I was born in the early 90s and remember seeing a Fear and Loathing poster as a little kid and thinking it was a Plastic Man movie.

I think Jim Carrey could still do it tbh.
We are discretly praying it won't happen.I’m kind of surprised no one’s talking about the talks with Warner brothers and their potential buyout by paramount or Netflix.

An all time fall from grace.Modern day Gilliam handling a Morrison adaptation should legally be considered a hate crime. Big fan of his movies, but looooord no.
Especially brutal because I’d never have expected it from the humanism of his work.An all time fall from grace.
No, I want Terry Gilliam to tackle characters that can fit in a Terry Gilliam universe, the Doom Patrol, Danny the Street, the Bureau of Normalcy, these are a perfect match for Gilliam’s surreal chaotic style. You want a anti-trans, racist bigot to do a Doom Patrol movie? Have you read/watched Doom Patrol before?
It's not just bigoted comments. Like all TERFs, it's become his personality. No, I want Terry Gilliam to tackle characters that can fit in a Terry Gilliam universe, the Doom Patrol, Danny the Street, the Bureau of Normalcy, these are a perfect match for Gilliam’s surreal chaotic style.
I wasn’t aware of his controversial comments, so maybe he wouldn't want to do this anyway, since it's too queer-coded.
