The Clinton Thread II

I tuned in for a bit of the DNC and the commotion on the floor is nuts. Yes, the DNC ****ed up hard with how they handled the primary, but there's so much more at stake here. I don't like Hillary Clinton, but I know Trump will cause real damage. What Bernie's supporters are not realizing is that by voting for Hillary you're voting for the platforms and policies. Sure, it's not Bernie's revolution, but a vast majority of what he's fighting for has a place in the Democratic party platform. I hope that the noise these Bernie supporters are making is nothing more than a very noisy minority. If it's a majority of Berner then Trump has won and America has lost.

the only reason the primary wasn't handled correctly in the eyes of those on the floor is because hrc received three million plus more votes than bernie. these bernie or bust types didn't need leaked emails, they were gonna chant and rant no matter what. baby lost his first election and now baby mad. the majority of them are democrats only because of sanders, otherwise they'd be green party, and i wouldn't be surprised if most of them vote that way in nov. it's not a novel take, but they're the tea party of the left, only i'm not sure they'll remain democrats past this election. i'm also not sure if they'll have the energy to last all night, but i'm sure there's going to be one big moment, maybe bernie getting booed by his own creation when he comes out tonight, that'll be a hot take-away for the media.

Look I get Hillary has baggage. And people are sick of hearing about it. But I don't understand why people only see the one side. Long after everyone sane had moved on from Benghazi, which party kept having hearings? Which party just holds her to a hypocritical standard when looking at the same lens for their own members? I know Democrats are hypocrites too, but Hillary is far from the end all be all of the ills of society.

The democrat supporters have reason to be upset and they have to get that disappointment out of their system before the healing begins. The DNC deserve the anger and frustration that's being shown.

just like the first day of the rnc was a little rough, i'm not sure how long the berners can keep up their energy, but i have to imagine michael bloomberg, tim kaine, probably bill, and certainly hillary, are going to have to wade through some hostile bursts. if i'm reince priebus, i'm rubbing my hands and cackling right now. the networks have to be loving this too, the ratings are going to be phenomenal.

Frankly I hope the Bernouts **** off back to the Independent Party, the Green Party, and Unaffiliated status after this election. If they want a socialist party or a party that thinks like Bernie they need to demand that of their own party or to start such a party. Stop trying to burn down or hijack the Democrat Party. I wouldnt mind them participating in DNC affairs if they didnt behave like wild howler monkeys throwing their feces at the wall. Why should the Party listen to a bunch of obnoxious malcontents?

Exactly. And there's a lot on stakes in this election, including the next Supreme Court justice. If those Bernie supporters would just stop and think about the possibility of having Trump nominate the next justice, and how that will affect their lives and the things they're passionate about, they should stop with all these protests and support Clinton. They don't need to love her, but she will do much more for their causes as the POTUS than Trump ever will.

I'm gonna have to stop you right there.

Silverman politely told Bernie or Bust supporters to **** lol

She's really one of the last people who needs to be lecturing anyone.

Yea no idea what she was even doing there, kind of like Baio in the RNC

All those jobs Trump creates, but couldn't hook up Baio :hehe:

Sort of like Scott Baio but she actually has worked in the past 20 years

He's been working he had 3 seasons of "See Dad Run" on Nick at Nite. That ended in 2014.

I never saw it....but that's work. :cwink:

It's not work if you are paying Nick to be on tv :o

"DNC VIDEO Produced by J.J. Abrams" lol

I'm quite impressed with Sanders here. When a big enough chunk of his supporters eventually come round it should make a difference in the election.

a lot of his supporters are being ******** 12 year olds who didn't get their way.

....

and i supported Bernie.

I voted for Bernie in the primary, but I'm sick of these diehard Berners who are now refusing to vote at all.

Can Michelle Obama run for president in the future? Because I'd vote for her in a heartbeat.

There's nothing legally stopping her, but I'm not sure how well she'd do. A lot of people don't even like her as First Lady.

Though I guess it could depend on how Obama ends up being viewed in hindsight.

I don't think she even likes being First Lady. She's an amazing woman, though. I'd vote for her. She is really one of those genuinely good people that others should strive to be like.

I'd vote for Obama again if it was an option, over any of the current candidates.

without question... i'd give him 8 more years lol
