it remains to be seen what kinberg wil do with costumes but given end of apocalypse and fact film is set in 1991 it may be for jean a version of 1990's outfit.

Honestly id be fine with the same outfits from apocalypse because i don't think they chose those outfits out of lazyness, they likely put alot of thought into it and its still the closest we have had yet to the comic outfits.

This movie is almost a decade after the events of Apocalypse. Reusing the same costumes from a movie set close to 10 years earlier is the very definition of "lazyness."

Now this could be something we can all be positive on.

With the exception of Kurt, I only see shades of blue and grey. I hope we can get some actual colorful costumes.

And I hope they up their gave this time.

I look forward to the accents on the rubber base of the suit disappear. I hope to see a color palette clad only in the plastic monochrome of rubber and leather. Preferably black. Like a homeless man suddenly given a wealth of billions, I dunno what to do with all the non-black splashes on the suits and would much rather go back to the sanity of dull colors. Better yet, black leather.

You understand that is the lighting, right. In normal lighting, the costumes are pretty good.

It's only the lightning. The costumes dont look cheap at all. They're great... if it was only a different light... damn

Nah the materials looked cheap especially how they dyed the blue parts of Jean's costume to be yellow, how colors transition from one material to the next and how the straps on Scott doesn't even sit properly on his chest. With the budget, they can definitely do better.

Yeah Cyclops costume is very overdesigned with the different hues of blue the cheap materials shoulder pad chest pad etc

Some angles help it look better but on closer inspection it kinda falls apart

She better have that design with a big movie budget. The Phoenix emblem and sash are mandatory. Best costume in all of comics.

I agree they should have the emblem at least. Dont really need the sash but the green and gold implemented in some way with the emblem would be perfection.

I honestly dont mind that not one bit. Green and Gold, Red and Gold im here for both but as i said I hope they change her up when/if he goes dark it will boring just seeing the same thing.

Now I wouldnt mind that because it will be something different when she goes dark. This would be good for me, lets hope they figure it out.

She changes her outfit by manipulating the molecules in the clothing in the comics. I can actually see Kinberg going with this explanation in DP, for better or worse...

nah, I think Mystique will design her the Phoenix costume, since they will be best friends in the movie and would give Raven a new development, as a great friend/person with great design skills too
