I have advanced this theory elsewhere, but I strongly believe (and I think there's strong evidence of) there is two female leads (Catwoman and Talia) and a female supporting character. Obviously, Catwoman was (in the end) between Biel, Knightley and Hathaway. I think Talia is between Cotillard and Weisz and I believe the final supporting female is between Watts and Winslet.
So if that rumor is true..
Los Angeles in spring, Pittsburgh in the summer & New York in the fall.

Forgetting about London, and possibly India, Romania, etc. This film will have a long shoot.
Where does Detroit fall into this equation?

#eddies aaron eckhart presents chris nolan ace golden eddie award. Says he's fearless in reinventing franchises and inventing new ones.
Not completely TDKR related but Nolan is being presented the "ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year" at the A.C.E (Eddie) Awards. Aaron Eckhart presented the award.
As much as I would explode with excitement of TDKR being filmed in my home city [Pittsburgh], I don't believe Silicone Allie. She did not provide any sources for her claims, which puts the validity into question....but still, I want to believe.
lolI'm going to be that singularly annoying fanboy that keeps on bringing up the issue, "What about Chicago?"![]()

Hey, you think you've got it bad? You think Nolan will ever film at the Jersey Shore?
All we've got is Snookie.![]()

I don't think so. The info that we got have always been that there will be 2 female roles - one is a love interest and the other is a villain.
Deadline was the first who said that there were 2 roles (back in November?) and the actresses they listed were Watts, Weisz, Hathaway, Portman, Knightley and Lively. Note the difference in the age groups (older-Watts and Weisz; younger-Hathaway, Portman, Lively, Knightley) which suggest the 2 roles about to be filled.
And then around January, THR released another report that several actresses were testing. The actresses that they listed were all under the younger group - Hathaway, Biel, Mara, Riley and Arterton. They theorized that the role is for Talia Al Ghul. About a week later, WB announced that Hathaway is Catwoman. There was no mention about the actresses in the older group.
Early this week we learned from THR that Marion is in discussions for the love interest role and they brought up the names of the actresses in the older age group (Watts and Weisz) with the addition of Winslet.
So I still think it's just 2 roles - Catwoman (younger actress) and the love interest (older actress). Of course, we know that Catwoman will serve as a villain/love interest as well but I think the other role about to be filled is a non-villain love interest (which makes me believe that the role is not Talia).
Dark Knight Rises needs to fill two big female roles, a villain and a love interest. Sources say one character is Talia, the daughter of villain Ra's Al Ghul, who was portrayed by Liam Neeson in Nolan's first Gotham-set crime pic Batman Begins. In the comic books, Talia is both Batman's lover and antagonist, ultimately siring his alter ego Bruce Wayne's son.
[Update: Heat Vision is reporting that Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Kate Mara, Charlotte Riley, and possibly Gemma Arterton are testing for the female roles, so it's possible that Green and Watts haven't been cast. However, we have independently confirmed that Talia al Ghul is in the movie.]
Seen, look at the bright side. Chicago has hosted two of Nolan's Batman films.
Some of us live in cities that can only dream of being so lucky.
