Make that two great Batman films where Batman was absent for a strong chunk of the film, then.

Not really a fan of FOX, but everyone else is just as biased. Fox just happens to be biased towards the right. The other 90% of the media is biased towards the left. Get off your high horse, everyone's biased. I watch a little bit of everything and read the newspaper and do my own research to form my own opinions, but there is no point in singling out one news station for being biased when every other news station is just as biased, just the other way.


EDIT: Knowing Nolan's style, If Batman gets broken, I bet it is during the beginning and the second act is mostly flashbacks to what lead to the breaking battle, while he recovers and then act III is set in present time as he returns to "rise".

Yeah, I was surprised when I found that out too. I think BB felt like it has less Batman screen time because it has a significantly larger amount of screen time devoted to Bruce compared to TDK. Bruce was in almost every scene in BB while he had much less in TDK.

My theory back when I heard about the back breaking, is that they may have a Jean-Paul type character. Then in Jan, when they announced Catwoman in it, I kinda wondered if he is out of comission for a while if Catwoman becomes the misguided hero that tries to fill Batman's shoes, or something kinda like that.

Maybe Catwoman knows that Batman is innocent and that's her only motivation in helping him fight crime. However, never losing her intentions as being a thief.

So desperate for news that we start believing **************.

I agree. I can see Nolan doing this. Or something similar to The Prestige's timeline.

That's what I've been thinking too. I'm sure that when he was penning TDKR and going back to Batman Begins he couldn't help but think about his film he did in between BB and TDK- The Prestige.

Maybe the opening scene in TDKR is a scene from the end of the last ACT and the entirety of the film works it's way toward that scene and then on.

Yeah, but once Bruce becomes Batman in BB, he's basically in the suit the rest of the movie. It just added up.

Yeah I hate to be cliche, but I have faith that if Nolan ended his Bat story with the Bat being broken, he would do a FANTASTIC job. Also, yeah, I agree I want a lot of Batman. I love TDK, but he was overshadowed by The Joker. For the big finale its time he(and Bale) get the spotlight.

Haha yeah, the saddest thing is my cousin is in college as a political scientist and he did a huge report and he found something ridiculous like 85% of the "youth vote"'s primary news source was "The Daily Show" or "Colbert Report". They are both good COMEDY shows......but come on people. hahahahahahahaha

I hope any ridiculous rumors about the Lazzurus pit are false. That would really eff up the "realism continuity"

I'd prefer Bane beating Batman to a pulp and "breaking" him physically,mentally and emotionally. But if he does infact break Bat's back id still love it none the less but im just a little skeptical as to how long batman would have to recuperate since its the last flim in the trilogy i wouldnt want him being out for most of it but Nolan is a genius and has never dissapointed so i would be happy with either approach.

If these movies were realistic, Two-Face wouldn't have been able to speak properly.

If these movies were realistic, Ra's Al Ghul wouldn't have been introduced as a character. His immortality was strongly hinted at in Batman Begins... now, that's not realistic, is it?

There's no reason why the lazurus pit couldn't be used.

And besides, neither one of us has seen the movie yet. What if he comes up with some scientific explanation? The liquid could be something that's formed naturally in the ground in only that part of the world, the liquid could re-animate dead cells.

He'll probably have Batman beaten within an inch of his life, the actual "breaking" could be of his spirit. Something similar to how Bruce felt after he lost Rachel.

I wouldn't mind a scene like that, we've never really seen Bats get his ass kicked in the previous two movies. lol.

I love how everyone assumes I'm a Fox News Viewer simply because I'm defending them in this situation. I'm not. Everyone in the media is biased. It is hypocritical to single out one source when they are all biased. Don't try and pick the speck out of your brother's eye when you have a plank in your own. You might want to leave the Trojan army and get off your high horse. ALSO, you must get your news from ONE outlet(making you biased) because neither comedy show is accurate at all, nor do they claim to be.I didn't start this. I simply responded.
