Both BB and TDK had the same percentage of Batman screen time.
Make that two great Batman films where Batman was absent for a strong chunk of the film, then.

They both have the best ratings????![]()
Not really a fan of FOX, but everyone else is just as biased. Fox just happens to be biased towards the right. The other 90% of the media is biased towards the left. Get off your high horse, everyone's biased. I watch a little bit of everything and read the newspaper and do my own research to form my own opinions, but there is no point in singling out one news station for being biased when every other news station is just as biased, just the other way.
EDIT: Knowing Nolan's style, If Batman gets broken, I bet it is during the beginning and the second act is mostly flashbacks to what lead to the breaking battle, while he recovers and then act III is set in present time as he returns to "rise".

Call me crazy, but I'd like to see Batman generally present in this last film of the Nolan trilogy.I think Nolan can make a great Batman film even if Batman is absent for a strong chunk of the film, but it certainly won't be easy.
Nolan might do it, hell maybe it's even probable that he will do it... but it would be a $h*tty way to end things.Of course his back could be broken at the end....
My theory back when I heard about the back breaking, is that they may have a Jean-Paul type character. Then in Jan, when they announced Catwoman in it, I kinda wondered if he is out of comission for a while if Catwoman becomes the misguided hero that tries to fill Batman's shoes, or something kinda like that.
So desperate for news that we start believing **************.
Unbelievable.
I agree. I can see Nolan doing this. Or something similar to The Prestige's timeline.
Yeah, but once Bruce becomes Batman in BB, he's basically in the suit the rest of the movie. It just added up.Yeah, I was surprised when I found that out too. I think BB felt like it has less Batman screen time because it has a significantly larger amount of screen time devoted to Bruce compared to TDK. Bruce was in almost every scene in BB while he had much less in TDK.

Good for you man. It's refreshing to read this. I use to be a journalist and now I do political/editorial cartoons and I can't believe some of the things the big guys get away with.
Haha yeah, the saddest thing is my cousin is in college as a political scientist and he did a huge report and he found something ridiculous like 85% of the "youth vote"'s primary news source was "The Daily Show" or "Colbert Report". They are both good COMEDY shows......but come on people. hahahahahahahaha
Nolan balked at the idea of a Joker with perma-white skin because that went beyond a sense of realism of this "world we know" and now we're supposed to suspend disbelief should the dead rise from the grave? Nah, that's BULL $H*T!Can we stop with the realism thing?
These movies have a sense of realism, that's it.
If these movies were realistic, Two-Face wouldn't have been able to speak properly.
If these movies were realistic, Ra's Al Ghul wouldn't have been introduced as a character. His immortality was strongly hinted at in Batman Begins... now, that's not realistic, is it?
There's no reason why the lazurus pit couldn't be used.
6 months till you can do normal activity. 1-2 years before you can do the level of physical activity the Batman does at 100% capacity.

Which is why Batman's back isn't getting broken.
Nolan's not going to jump from Batman having major activity in Gotham to two years of absolutely no Batman at all. Bane ruling the underworld that entire time.
Sorry, not gonna happen.
Well he didn't balk at the idea of having a character that's immortal.
Ra's Al Ghul is not immortal in Nolan's universe. That line was just a little bone thrown to the fans to call back to the character's comic book characteristics.
...So in Nolan's universe, is Ra's Al Ghul a title that's handed down, rather than an actual person?
And yet they're both more factually accurate and unbiased than Fox News.
I guess that kinda makes Fox News the comedy show, since their inane ******** always gets a laugh out of intelligent people.
Correct....So in Nolan's universe, is Ra's Al Ghul a title that's handed down, rather than an actual person?
