Hehe, as do I. I think he's a great actor. I was just sayin.I love Tom Hardy![]()

See, this is what happens when you think a rejuvenation pit is possibleeverything old is new again![]()
I have. But it's not even on the parameters of the films anymore. It's taking out a ruler and measuring whose educational sausage is bigger; which is fine but, at least try to stay in the lines of TDKR and Nolan...
You missed one...
Well, yes... but then someone injected the horse with telomeres.
I have.
It's a question of believability within the context of Nolan's sense of realism. We can debate back and forth about what 'realism' actually means here or we can cut to the chase and take Nolan and Goyer at their word: They are trying to give the impression of some extraordinary possibility that no matter how improbable could actually happen within a world like the world we the audience live in. And in that real world a person with 4th degree burns, though unlikely, could possibly survive. A person with a crushed spine cannot today take an enzyme injection and walk away regardless of any medical experimentation that might suggest some future possibility. The implausibility of a resurrection pit speaks for itself.
Heck, I work with DNA and I'm already checked out of this discussion.Well, yes... but then someone injected the horse with telomeres.

I actually like reading these long ass nerdy debates. Sometimes I'm in them, sometimes I just read them, and sometimes they do get irritating, but overall, I don't see any harm in it.
Nerd on, my friend. Nerd on......
As far as nerd-fights are concerned, I'm entirely disappointed that I have not yet had the occasion for a brutal quote battle. There just hasn't been much to talk about.
When the batsuit drops, though, I suspect it shall be time for me to go to war.
Oh yes.
The discussion of the batsuit, whether it's just the TDK suit or a new one, will get quite heated. That much I can guarantee.
Not quite; the reason must also have some foundation in probability. But it's not beyond REASON; these are the basis of his films. It need not be possible yet but, have some foundation in possibility.
The general audience doesn't know all of which you've detailed to us; nor does the general audience give two hooting flunts about it.
At our core levels you and I can agree that in the world today; it's interesting and passable for an enzyme injection to assist in fixing someone's broken back.
That's all he needs.
This is fundamentally different and more 'realistic' than a pit that brings people to life or grants them immortality.
The real question is WHY do it that way when it seems so marginalized and would need such a thorough explanation in the film
Oh yes.
The discussion of the batsuit, whether it's just the TDK suit or a new one, will get quite heated. That much I can guarantee.
I've been meditating and sharpening my blades daily.
Wait, take me with you!Heck, I work with DNA and I'm already checked out of this discussion.![]()

Suicide is painless. If the batsuit is any more grey than the last one, someone will die. I promise you. They will die.
If it hadn't been you it would have been someone else... what is the topic at hand anyway???
t:Rumor is they are blowing up Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh in an epic action sequence. From wikipedia:
The arena's owner, the Sports & Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, initially voted in September 2010 to demolish the building in 2011. However, in November 2010, the arena was nominated for historic status at the last minute, and demolition has been delayed. A final vote by the Pittsburgh Historic Review Commission on the nomination was held on March 2, 2011. The result was the HRC declining the arena for historic status.
