So did the guy that suggested they use the building, make his thread before the info came out that they were indeed using it as Arkham Asylum? If so, that's a good call by him.
I honestly have no idea.
Its a very cool looking city it just looks too old world European to me though. I always imagined Gotham as having a mix of extremely old Gothic buildings as well as state of the art brand new buildings. (Which is why I really hope they utilize alot of Pittsburgh)
Gothic Gotham to me will always be Burtons Gotham, i loved the Cathederal, towering over Gotham. I'm just not sure Glasgow has building like that, from what i've seen.
That said i grew up loving Burton's Gotham. Sure its not as big feeling as Nolan's but the buildings by Furst were beautiful.
I hope i'm wrong and that Glasgow gives gotham that really Gothic feel that's been kinda missing from Nolan's films. It's time we saw Batman crouching behind a gargoyle.
