If they used a luchador mask like in the comics, it would be even worse. Masked characters are hard to do. Batman at least has an advantage because his mouth area is free. But characters like Spider-Man depend on body language, and that's why there are so many shots of Peter Parker unmasked in the movies.

Tom Hardy has been warning us from the beggining. xD

And to be fair, cold fits Bane. If he was using his original mask he would be even colder. Pure voice acting and body language.

We all expect it to be monday. Jett has said Sunday and the TDK theatrical trailer was apprently on a Sunday, so there's a chance, but we'll have to see. They do like paralleling the TDK release dates.

I thought the trailer was pretty good but the acting in the prologue was terrible. Aiden Gillan's american accent is just bad. Don't like how they've portrayed Bane. No facial expressions and bad ADR.

Wait what? Aiden Gillan's american accent was spot on. If I didn't know the dude was foreign beforehand, I wouldn't have had a single clue. And yes, I'm from the US (Massachusetts). His acting is a little hammy and over the top, but I thought it fit his character's personality perfectly. He's supposed to be a bit of a *****er, and Gillan's acting gave me that feel perfectly. I hated him and wanted Bane to ruin his day and he did. I also understood Bane perfectly and still can't figure out why people have trouble with it. Just my two cents.

1. MI4 is not a WB movie so WB doesnt care
2. there is no proof that a small procent of batman fans on this planet would make a difference at the BO with movies.if it would be even close to true other studios would do it the same. if this would be true there would be less bombs every year with 100% geek movies. sorry.

Oh stop. I've seen this being thrown around since the day the Prologue was attached to MI:4 and you know what, it isn't fair. Paying to see the MI:4 and Prologue in IMAX is WELL worth the price of admission. MI:4 was exciting and a pleasant surprise, it's getting great reviews as well. To shrug it off as nothing more than a "bonus" for the prologue is downright dumb.

My friends and I made it into the trailer! If you look front row right after the shot of the kid singing the anthem, I'm wearing a brown coat overtop a yellow Gotham Rogues t-shirt. Any others from the Heinz Field shoot catch themselves in the scene?

Doesn't matter how much we overestimate how many people go just for trailers and prologues, it's just a case of every extra cent counts...it's just good business, why lose that just so a few fanboys can watch the trailer a few days early? Everyone is going to see the trailer next week anyway.

There could also be a certain amount of integrity for them being viewed in the formats they were designed for.

Look guys, I don't disagree. Since my very first post on it I've mocked how ridiculous it is. How much more extra money could be being made if not a few cents? What's the difference? Giving a better impression to fans with an HD version on the internet from the getgo should be the way to go, but greed as well as stubbornness to stick to these old practices just can't be ignored by a studio like WB at this time.

I went and saw "Ghost Protocol" in IMAX last night (really, really enjoyable movie, actually). Unfortunately, it wasn't one of the theaters with the prologue. However, the trailer played and the whole theater applauded after it did.

My thoughts on it: I thought it was pretty alright. I admit, I had goosebumps the whole time, and I am very excited, but there is something about TDKR that isn't sitting right with me. I think it's the character designs, as I really don't like what we've seen of the Catwoman costume and I think Bane's look (and voice) is horrendous. Plus, I'm not a fan of them still using the TDK Batsuit. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised by Anne Hathaway in the trailer, and I actually loved the Batwing in motion (hate how it looks in set pics), and when Bane said "When Gotham is in ashes, I give you permission to die," I was satisfied.

Overall, I'm not as hyped as I was for TDK, but I could get there potentially. Despite my gripes about the little things, I loved this trailer, and look forward to overwatching it on Monday.

I hate that scene when prisioners in tangerine coloured suits chant 'deshi-basara' and are coming from that dark something with guns in their hands.

It's just.... OMGGGG, why they pick up for this film that bad extras? Their moves are very awkward and 'non-in-character'. Especially the one guy. Everytime when I see trailer I'm looking at this guy. He's worst from them all. Who I mention? Of course this guy with 'I'm a disco king from 80's' black hairs, at who is on left side of screen. Ygh.

haha I can imagine you just watching the film for the first time in beautiful IMAX, then at that very moment you are just screaming at the screen.


Seriously though...TDK had some horrible extras, doesn't really detract OR distract until someone makes a whole lot of gifs and youtube videos out of them.
