Why the hell are people expecting Shakespeare quality when we've never had it before? Anne's acting ability can be debated but there was NOTHING greatly wrong with her dialogue in the trailer. It's perfectly up to the level of the majority of Dark Knight's script and completely up to par with most Hollywood movies. These are Summer action films (really good ones with a lot of drama) and the dialogue works perfectly.I do hope this movie doesn't boil down to some banal class war/Oliver Twist type of sentiment. Anne Hathaway's dialogue seems to hint at it. She has yet to grow on me; she has some poor dialogue to deliver in the trailer, but she delivers it with such a surfeit of sincerity that it seems even sillier, to me.
Seems like it's a no name, from all the high quality descriptions. Probably someone rich though. Can someone help me out here, I can't make out who it is being dragged from underneath what I think is a table or cupboard.

I just watched the much much MUCH better bootleg of the trailer. What happens right after Bane says his line to Bruce? Then it's the talia scene, and then... Is that "The BAT" flying down from off a building? At 1:34 on the verson I'm watching...
I sense that you are right and I certainly hope so. After The Joker's commentary on the fragility of the social order I heard Selina espousing mere social envy and thought is that it?I don't think Nolan's pushing an agenda, and I don't think Catwoman's political views and motives will be portrayed in such a way as to inspire people to feel the same way. I'm not even sure that her outlook at the time of the masquerade ball will be the same as her outlook by the end of the movie, anyway.
At first I thought it was Alfred, but upon a few more viewings it appears not.

I thought it might have been Alfred too. I hope Alfred doesn't get hurt.
The old dude when bruce says "what does it mean?" I thoughtit might have been alfred too. I looks like Alfred with longer unkept hair and facial hair...is that possible?
I was afraid of that. I guess I will need to go watch SH, because I really need to see this in HD.^ Monday would be the best bet.
So who got to enjoy the trailer in the theater last night?

Why on earth are you looking for depth in a trailer? It's highly unlikely what she says in the trailer is complete, let alone bearing the context of the scene which we have barely any idea of.
I don't think he meant that in terms of expecting more out of the trailer. I think it meant that a simple case of envy over class and money seems trite compared to Joker's overall commentary on human nature and anarchy.
