Same here, unfortunately :( Why are they called Bengals? Any connection to Bengalis or just the nearly-extinct tiger?
The tiger, even though our uniforms look more like striped creamsicles.

Trailer was so much better than the bootleg. Christ.

Best shot of Bane IMO is the first one, right after the little feller singing the nation anthem, which, by the way sounds so damn creepy underscoring the first bit of the trailer. The crowd gasped at the football shot and cheered and clapped at the "The Legend...Ends" card.

Cg shots are fiddled with for a while, I would be amazed if a shot like that were finished and locked at this stage. If memory serves the first Watchmen trailer had some shots that were half done (Jon Osterman getting de-instrinsicified and Archie coming up out of the water).

There's an an exchange from Star Trek: TNG thats been running through my mind a lot since the TDKR hype started:

Data: It would appear you are attempting to grow another beard

Geordie: Yeah, hows it look (something like that anyway)

Data: As with many things it is difficult to judge a finished process based on an intermediate stage.

Speculation is fun, but judgement must be left for the finished product alone. Haters are looking at stubble and moaning that the beard won't trimmed properly. Let the thing grow a bit more. I have officially stretched this metaphor too thinly.

Look at that, I managed to write that whole thing without ever using the word "Epic". Oh crap.

THIS.

You, dude, deserve a 'win'. Awesome avv. and sig. as well!

Oh right and there was that movie that they decided to play as a treat for those who stayed after the trailer. Not bad. Stephen Fry was by a wide margin the best part of that movie. I adore him so.

Sorry guys, but even in HD, I cannot see how that first shot of Bane can compete with the utter glory that is him standing under that white light.

:awesome:

Someone pointed out a screen-cap of the crowd at the stadium, and noticed how similar the 'R' in the Rogues sign is to the 'R' in Robins symbol.

Also, I wonder where John Blake is heading with that shotgun?...he was looking pretty badass. :word:

Can anyone tell me when the next trailer came out after the December trailer of TDK? Because it will give us a hint at the when the next trailer will come out.

If I remember correctly the second theatrical trailer came out in May with IronMan.

However I have a STRONG feeling that we're gonna get something new for the SuperBowl. Begins had a SB ad, and I think TDK skipped it cuz it was too soon after Heath's death. Plus it just makes too much sense this time around (Rouges).

Oy, it's nigh impossible to get a YT link to the new prologue / trailer 2 :( Them cops be thorough.

Twitter. The latest greatest of everything is always being chatted about on twitter. Do a search for 'Dark Knight Rises' and bing bang boom you got whatever you want to know. For totally innocent purposes of course. :ninja:

I'm not trying to start a war of words here, but it goes without saying that there is much more hype surrounding the trailer for the TDKR trailer than there was for the trailer for The Avengers.

Batman over everything.

Indeed. I mean, the Avengers trailer getting 10 million downloads in 24 hours was probably just a random coincidence.

Found a better quality trailer #2.

Man o' man. I am going to explode on July 20th 2012.

The new bootleg is easy to find, I can't find the better quality Trailer for the life of me though. Just ghosts of it when it was on youtube.

watched the trailer many times. What makes me so happy is that its as much different from the dark knight as the dark knight was to batman begins. Its shot differently, and is lighted differently. And overall looks fantastic!

Glad to see catwoman portrayed as a villain in the trailer. For some reason I just cant see Anne Hathaway as a villain, but her appearance through the amazing cinematography of Wally Pfister makes her look tremendous while her dialogue makes her seem sinister. She is the backbone to this film as Dent was to The Dark Knight. However, unlike dent who went from good to bad she will follow the arc of bad to good in this film . Count on it.

Bane looks amazing, and I really got to hand it off to Nolan and his creative team. He dramatically altered the look of Bane while keeping the important aspects of the character, using Bane as an archetype in his film. And Banes new look comes off as frightening, sinister, and of course, freakish. All aspects a good bat villain should have.

This trailer has proved, without a doubt that Nolan has indeed surpassed expectations and will have created the perfect FILM trilogy come July 20th 2012. Oh and on a side note.... the only way batman dies is by sacrifice. Bane will not win, Talia will not win, but it is possible Bruce could sacrifice himself to save the city and defeat Bane because there is simply no where to go after this. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. :awesome:

There's a shot in the trailer that's killin' me. It's the shot of Bane, holding his straps, low angle, the lighting comes from above, engulfing him in shadows.

That's the iconic shot of Bane for me....right now.

I thought the trailer was pretty good but the acting in the prologue was terrible. Aiden Gillan's american accent is just bad. Don't like how they've portrayed Bane. No facial expressions and bad ADR.

ADR wasn't done yet, Nolan said they wil do that.

Hard to have facial expressions as Bane, don't you think? It was all in his eyes though.

You only get to see a little bit of Bane (compared to the rest of the film) so I'll save my judgement for the final cut.

It might just be the hype but I thought the prologue was underwhelming.
