Speaking of that... I think he might actually be saying "So we started the fire?" As if to ask "has our plan come into motion?"

Hmm...you might be right.

The whole "rising" motif is interesting based on the class warfare stuff. The fact that this is inspired by Tale of Two Cities, I mean ("The Fire Rises" is a chapter in that work). I think the plan is to rise above their class.

I'm wondering if Bane's group is motivated by economics, whereas LOS was motivated by morality. Maybe this leads to a clash and Batman is in the middle of it. Maybe that explains why LOS/Josh Pence comes to his rescue. IDK.

I'm wondering too if Alfred's mercenary exp has something to do with Bane's group.

Still think it's 'a' fire. Just watched it again.
I was going to watch the trailer again, but with that poor quality, it would be extremely painful.

That's the thing that confuses me... are we sure Bane truly wants to motivate Gotham to turn on the rich and he isn't just manipulating them? After all, in the trailer he claims he wants to leave it in ashes.

Well the alleged script leak said 'the fire', then I watched it again and it actually sounded like that. But I could be wrong.

I wouldn't much doubt that he's manipulating them. Leaving Gotham in ashes is pretty unambiguous about his intentions for the city.

But I think you're trying to help.

Right, I was thinking that, too. I don't know what to think!! :-O The whole Josh Pence/Talia thing just suggests to me that there are two wings involved.

Bruce having gray hair and walking with a cane also suggests the Lazarus pit may be involved somehow. It would be helpful to see the trailer in HD and know more about those people going down into the well.

Both Selina and Miranda seem to be playing Ra's role in that masquerade party too (from BB).

Since when did Bruce having grey hair and a cane have anything to do with the Lazarus Pit?

It suggests he might need to be rejuvenated at some point in the film. Or that could be the way the film ends. With him as an older man.

That's a bit of a leap. It could just mean he's eight years older, and is recuperating after his beating by Bane.

I've seen it three times in IMAX and always caught it as "a fire." Not that it really means anything since the line goes by so quickly. :funny:

Well, in that case I'm sure Selina will get him to use Just for Men.

In any case, the title and teaser does suggest a rebirth motif, Lazarus Pit or no.

Wasn't a big fan of the football field thing but the trailer was quite amazing. So excited!

However, one thing to really point out is that the flash cards on the trailer says something to the effect of "The story of the Dark Knight concludes" and then it says "The Legend ends."

The thing about the legend ending made me think for a moment that Nolan could kill off the bat and I say this as someone who never thought it would happen.

edit; I only clicked the post button once but it double posted this.

"Darkhunt's gonna dump it in the recycle bin."

"Really?"

"Mhmm."

"But it's the Trailer!"

"A Bootleg Trailer. This is HD time."

"You think this will last. There's an official trailer coming, SHH! You and your users better tone down on the uploads, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever coped with that poor quality, and went to share it with the rest of us."

The trolls are out in full force tonight.
And the usual ones will start coming here a lot more rampantly, especially when we get more amazing new trailers/footage and they see that the majority are pumped for it. Laughing hysterically through their 300 lb+ bellies.
