Silly and Goofy is inherent in the property so I’m happy to see they’ve nailed the tone.

It is... but I've also read plenty of Shazam/Captain Marvel comics that had a serious tone, so I guess I'm hoping this isn't 100% jokey. Although the prospect of "Big with super powers" is intriguing. I just hope it doesn't go overboard.

SHAZAM has been described as surprisingly scary in places. I think it's likely Billy's arc will involve realizing there's also some serious responsibility associated with being a superhero.

Hadn't heard the "scary" comment about Shazam. That's interesting. And yeah, I'm sure Billy will have an arc in which he realizes he has to grow up.

We haven't seen much of Sivana but hopefully he comes off well because Strong can play a great villain and it's great to see him get another shot at a CBM after the whole Green Lantern debacle. Dude would have been epic as Sinestro with a good script and direction; hell, he was even good in an otherwise bad movie.

Also, I lashed out at you a week or so ago on another forum; apologies for that. I can be an A-hole at times over silly things.

You have your 2020 and 2021 slates covered and 2022 you only have 1 slates covered with Aquaman 2 but which other films would I fit into the 2022 slate?

I would have 2 other films that being:

Booster Gold & Blue Beetle- February 2022 release date

The Flash- June 2022 release date

U forgot 'The Trench' and 'The Kitchen' in 2019, which is a from a DC Inprint, we cannot forget them since they make great film from them inprints: A History of Violence, V for Vendetta & Road to Perdition are ****ing awesome, RED and RED2 were cool too but not in the same level tho

2018 was reaaaaaaaally sad for me, we only had 1 film, i loved Aquaman but i cant believe we only had 1 film while other franchises *cough Marvel, the fans gets at least 3 film per year

I do think there will be a 'Supergirl' movie in there somewhere. Would be cool to see Blue Beetle and Booster Gold together. That could be a fun family type of movie like Shazam.

Gotham City Sirens would be fun too (but more adult.) I wonder how long it will take for New Gods to come out. Seems like it would be a big movie i.e. it would have to be epic. Same with Green Lantern Corps, just seems like a big undertaking, these epic space movies.

I'll believe Black Adam is a thing when it's opening weekend. I seriously doubt that will ever get made (at least with the Rock attached)

Just wondering how doable 3 movies is a year. Technically MCU only did it first in 2017, but that was technically a separate studio helping out with Spider-Man, same as this year. Last year was the first time Marvel Studios released 3 movies and it seems that in 2020, they will be back down to 2.

But im in general surprised that there isnt yet more about Black Adam, considering they have The Rock in the role.
You would think they push this movie extremely with the kind of name they have for the lead role.

If Shazam performs well then a sequel with The Rock is easy money for them - no need to even think about it.

Isn't he also filming some weird folk hero Avengers movie where he plays John Henry?
