DC Films The DC Studios News and Discussion Thread

Good points guys. It’s just that I see the radical hardcore Snyder fans as haters of what Gunn is trying to accomplish.and I hate to give them further fuel for their rage.

I think you are reading way too much into this. If the film got pushed back it's cause Reeves wasn't ready to make it. The DCU main universe has zero to with it.
Agree that the push back is Reeves not being ready but the DCU is not on his time. So you think WB is ok with no Batman until October of 2027? Plus all the smoke around Gunn and Reeves getting together. I am not even saying they are at odds. I believe there is a Batman plan with both men behind it. We will find out soon I am sure.

Don’t worry I think something is up that will make Batman DCU fans happy.

You could just ignore them...

Now the Titan rumors are getting heavier. I am guessing March 2027. DCU movies so far, Superman in 2025, Supergirl and Clayface in 2026. Moving steady. I am going to pipe down with the Batman stuff. The tortoise always wins the race. If we get quality movies out of Superman, Supergirl, and Clayface I will be ecstatic.

I don't think DCU Batman is even close to fruition...but who knows. (That is the fun)

I think it’s being pushed. Batman is DC’s big gun. Just happy that Gunn decided to start with Supes and so far the general audience is responding quite well to big blue.

I’m much more interested in pushing Batman adjacent characters like Robin/Nigthwing and Titans. Let Reeves do his thing and in the meantime lets get a Dick Grayson movie off the ground. It is way way way past time that character’s story has been properly told on the big screen.

What we do not need is another CW situation where you got a bunch of Bat characters talking about Batman....with no Batman being able to actually show up.

If you're going to have these famous sidekicks who have mentors then they should at least be seen once in the film.

I get the impression that the comic fans on the board would rather see the Bat family then the Titans.

I mean....we can't believe anything, even Jason, if Gunn hasn't confirmed (all sarcasm)
