I'm also a bit confused about the missing scenes. On one hand it apparently takes place when Reed is on the run, yet the clip in the trailer shows Reed in a HQ if some kind estimating Ben's arrival ( and proving to be completely incapable of doing basic math calculations regarding a falling object).

Just trailer editing.

Previews are edited all the time to seem like two separate scenes have some correlation or are taking place at the same time

Perhaps, or this could be yet another attempt to twist the narrative of how this turd came to be and put some sort of positive spin on it (depending on which side you want to believe).

Come to think of it, Trank changed his Twitter icon to something from an RPG recently. Heck, maybe the rock monster man pulling himself together was supposed to be from an RPG.

I love RPGs (I'm pretty sure I've played over a hundred of them), but that doesn't mean Fantastic Four should be adapting those instead of, y'know, The Fantastic Four.

Trank was playing a RPG throughout the FFINO production. He was role playing being a competent director. :o

So Spider-man is going to be taking over the Baxter building in the comics. Lmao.

I think that's actually a good sign. It seems like they may be setting up some return of the FF and conflict over the building.

There doesn't seem to be any reason to use the Baxter Building unless they're going to tie it to the FF in some way at some point.

Turn Baxter Building into Parker Industries.....CHECK!

Next they should have the Mandarin overthrow Latveria in an arc that par with Osborne taking over S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Cabal.

The more I hear, the more it achieves the impossible in that I thought I couldn't be any less interested in this movie, yet it does the impossible when Trank or whoever reveal things and make me think even less of it.

The cynical side of me worries that it could simply be a way of removing the Baxter Building from the Marvel Universe New York skyline...

Pretty much, which could really mean that Marvel is in this for the long hall. And if Peter is still a teen post Secret Wars then the retcon would mean that the building is named after Peter's Father.

Now if Fox gets a clue I'm sure Marvel could just build a Future Foundation next door.

Wait does Fox have access to Future Foundation name?

Nah, Peter's still an adult. They're bringing in Miles as the young Spidey.

So, utter and complete crap that had not the slightest credible justification? *ducks*

I am a FF fan, big time. favorite comic by far so I have been reading rumors, stories related to the comic and one speculation is once the movie is released on DVD (around Christmas I'm guessing) that soon after the comic may return. I think there is a good possibility of this. I think it may also (my speculation only) be why Reed and Sue are not with a group.

That's not the real cover, is it?

That's not the real cover, is it?

It's a sketch cover Tom Beland made. Saw it while browsing Twitter.

EDIT: To clarify for those that don't know what that means, no it isn't a "real" cover. It is from a real comic artist, though.

That cover is inaccurate as the Thing has pants in it. :o

And Reed is older.

Mara's horrible wig is spot-on though :P
