People who live in glass houses . . .

I'm sure Supes laughed at GL as well ;)

Green Lantern is a bad movie, but it's way better than quite a few comic book movies, in my opinion (FINO is one of them).

Eh, I actually give that movie a pass, simply for having Christopher motherfreaking Reeves in it! Dude brought playing superheroes into a whole new level...............and then Robert Downey Jr. came and elevated it again.

FFINO was a bit like the Wizard of Oz wasn't it? The 4 adventurers who went to the green Planet Zero were Reed (the straw man without a brain); Domashev (the tin man without a heart), Johnny (the lion who needed some Dutch courage) and Ben (the yellow orange brick man without a thing). :o

Sue was Dorothy, who stayed at home to look after Toto, Trank's dog. :o

Fact backed up by the majority of the evidence in the comics, and even side commentary by involved characters at the time. :p

Wait, maybe I'm missing the big picture here.... Who didn't like that "Dark Avenger's" arc?

Does it deserve a pass? Reeves coming back as literally the only positive about Superman IV (and it's not like his performance in the movie is anything to brag about, he's on autopilot the whole movie). Practically everything about Superman IV is just terrible.

So I just watched Elektra for the first time yesterday. For all its flaws, I'd rather watch that then Fantastic Four INO.

I'm of the opinion that X-men Origins is the worst comic book movie I've ever seen, followed closely by FFINO.

I thought you had seen more comic adaptations than that. There are a lot of bad comic book movies out there, and a bunch worse than Origins. I suggest you take a look at STEEL, ELEKTRA, Corman's FANTASTIC FOUR, CAPTAIN AMERICA (1979), CAPTAIN AMERICA (1990), GHOST RIDER SOV, THE SPIRIT, JONAH HEX........

In the past 10 years, this is what I feel is the Top 10 Worst CBMs.

1. Fant4stic Four
2. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
3. Jonah Hex
4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
5. Green Lantern
6. The Spirit
7. X-Men: Wolverine Origins
8. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
9. Punisher: War Zone
10. Ghost Rider

I haven't seen all of this list, but these highlighted are all better than FFINO and more watchable in my opinion. Maybe GR: SOV is the least watchable of those, but the others at least can be sat through and enjoyed at some level, particularly the Corman FF and the 2 Cap movies. And these three were made ages ago, whereas FFINO was not, so it has no excuse to have almost the same production values in the final battle.

If you're talking about last year's TMNT, sorry but no, TMNT 2 and ESPECIALLY 3 are far worse than last year's turtles. Go watch it again.

I found it almost as bad as Tranformers 4.

And I'm talking about the past 10 years and even if I wasn't regardless if it can be argued that TMNT2 and 3 are worse than last year's TMNT doesn't make it one of the better comic book movies.

Plus, add that it only got 21% on RT.

And you have misread my post.....I was not saying those in my list were better than FFINO.....I was saying they were worse than ORIGINS because he was saying ORIGINS was worse than FFINO and put Origins as the top of his worst list.

The only movie on this list that I've seen is Ghost Rider SOV, which I remember almost nothing about. The rest I plan on seeing eventually just as a fan of the genre, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
I think the reason I personally hate Origins so much is because of the wasted potential. Wolverine is one of my favorite characters, so to see his first solo outing be so haphazardly put together and cheaply made was very disappointing. But once I brave the depths of past CBM failures we'll see if I find one I like even less than Origins.

And you are just being argumentative. I haven't misread anything. I was just making a general observation that those films you listed were better than FFINO, that's all.

I was assuming that your love of the Wolverine character was behind that statement. In that way, I can understand your putting it at the top of the list...but if you ever get around to watching some of the others movies, I think your standings will change.

I'm sorry you took it that way, I wasn't trying to argue, I honestly thought that you thought I was saying those movies were worse than FFINO.

I don't know if Origins is really that bad or if I'm just biased because I was sick of Wolverine butt kissing. Either way that is one of the worst comic book movies I've seen as well as Blade Trinity.

Some people won't like a movie base upon a particular character if there is the slightest change from the comic to the movie. Others have to have a bigger change between them to not like it. It all depends upon the personal taste of the viewer.

The movies I listed, not only had changes in the character....but extremely bad acting, writing, direction, Fx, etc......
