It looks better in the latest photo, but there are still problems with the cowl. It’s just not close-fitting enough. That’s why the lack of chin strap looks worse than it might, and the presence of it (and thicker neck) balanced out the thick cowl on the old ones.

The new cowl kind of looks a biiit like the JL one, it’s just thicker and not as nicely sculpted. Ezra Miller’s mask/helmet is so form fitting as to basically not add any bulk to his head at all. Gustin’s just needs to be slimmed up and have a better sculpt - make it less skull-like.

On another note, is anyone else having problems with an uncloseable ad for a movie called Kin overtaking the forum pages and making them unusable? I’m having to post this from my phone to avoid it.

Honestly, I've gotten so used to seeing Grant's Flash with a chinstrap for his mask that it just feels odd/weird without it.

Why can’t we get the damn yellow boots and a proper lighting belt!

I would love to see the yellow boots as well but unless they can do it like how they did with reverse flash bottom half I think it would look goofy. maybe yellow and the lower you get to his feet the dark it gets to show wear n tare.

Dont know what the fuss is about - the new cowl sculpt is comic book accurate - check out issue #177 (1968) if you don't believe me.

Those ridges along the side of his head aren’t doing any favours. It would look totally fine if it was as thin and form fitting as Miller’s. It’s just a bad sculpt.

This is all they have to do - smooth out the head, and extend the sculpted part to cover the sideburn areas. This will make it look less weird from the front. Basically make it a bit more like the Dark Knight helmet.

I like that the red is a little more brighter and that they're trying to make the suit closer to its comic book counterpart. However they need to improve on the head as its totally obvious that Barry is the Flash and it doesn't look good.

90s Flash looks like Dark Flash...and they seriously need to ditch this suit.

Even with a bigger build the new Flash suit doesnt work. Grant looks super skinny and this pic makes Amell look bloated.

Everything about that new suit is inferior to the 90's outfit and the last Flash costume. Even the lightning trim around the gloves and boots looks so flimsy. How did that suit even get approved?

Like the OG Flash suit but got to be honest im liking the new Flash suit (I know I seem to be in the minority lol)

It lacks the bulk that the leather version had. Leather is also stiffer and doesn't collapse/conform as easily cloth. Plus, the odd chest panel choices just flatten out the chest area rather than defining the build underneath. Compared to even the Season 1 Flash costume, this one is super inferior!

Just make the chest symbol to be more 3D and change to awful boots and the 90’s costume would be perfect for me. The new suit is just hideous from the bulbous cowl, weird pattern on the abdomen, arms and neck to the really odd shade of red they went with.

The color choice is just about the only thing I like about it. It has a more comic brightness than they had before. but then again, I did like the darker tone of the S1 suit also.

The muscle padding on the 90s suit reminds me of those Halloween costumes from Target, not gonna lie.
