Suit looks fine, it just needs the old cowl. Even the old cowl *without* the chinstrap would look better. The new one seems to show his entire jaw, but it needs some material at the back of his jaw to properly frame his face.

I can't believe how much I'm missing something as simple as the chin strap, but I really really think not having it is a major detraction.

Goddammit! THAT'S what that center design reminds me of! Thank you!!! And I was wondering why he looked more angsty. The eye holes are a good bit smaller.

I wish they would have kept some of the yellow piping. The suit now looks so naked without them.

The suit it fine, cowl is terrible. Out of all adaptations, tv and movie I still think the 90’s show did the mask the best.

I like the new suit. Not sure about the helmet / mask, but happy to wait and see it in action before I judge it too harshly.

I hope they update their stock / standard CGI running Flash SFX with the new suit and don’t just use the old one.

They just need to shamelessly copy the Captain America helmet. That solves the issue of having to film scenes where he takes off the cowl and folds it back (obviously edited to look as though the cowl is a fabric) And he can take it off whenever he'd like. You keep the chin strap in the process.

Win.

I honestly LOVE the 90's suit with the exception of the ridiculous bulk. Other than that, I thought it was great.

Talk of the 90's suit has me thinking, has there ever been a manip of that suit with the bulk taken out and with yellow boots added? That would look nigh on perfect.

As for this new suit, I like the move away from the leather and there are things that I think are great but, yeah, whats with the diamonds? And I certainly miss the chin strap.

They've been sitting on it since season 1 so part of me thinks they will just re-use the animation they did for Reverse Flash when he fought Flash, Firestorm and Arrow.

Not a big fan, but if that's what we get...

I'm going to miss the chin part of the helmet. It looks lopsided without it. I also prefer the leather over clothe, and that funky pattern is distracting. It actually makes me think of the Superman suit, with the over-use of 'paneling.'

I do appreciate that the new costume is moving away from leather and I honestly think that it's better than the Flash costume from S1. I do like that chin strap... without it people can easily tell its Barry under the suit. I kind of wished that the new suit had more yellow as it looks a bit bland.

Lmao that's why I stopped watching the show after mid S2, Barry is always messing with time and never learns a damn thing.

Also, the future is still going to be accurate in terms of the cowl, wanna know why? Because that new cowl portion of the new suit sucks so bad the designers are probably working on a fix right now anyway to something closer to that future 2024 cowl aka the original

Not necessarily; by [that point] Barry will have a selection of suits at his disposal. Who's to say he's not wearing one of the old suits (for reasons unknown) during that crisis? Maybe the photo in the newspaper is even an old one?
