So if Eddie might be RF from the future, then how/why did Wells do the RF "voice" at the end?

About how did RF beat Wells, didn't few people mentioned from the comic books that one of RF (and maybe Flash) powers is to be in multiple place at the same time? Maybe I understood it wrongly, but I am pretty sure it was something along those lines. Or the man in yellow was the future Wells(but we already know that Wells have info of the future, so that seems unlikely). The only question now is, how will future Flash be handled in the show. Eddie definitely have some connection to RF, I like the way Wells said Detective 'Thawne' in the end scene, as if its his own surname

I thought that he took Farooq (a.k.a. Blackout)'s blood in the "Power Surge" episode because Farooq could steal Barry's speed. I don't rmeember him doing the same to Multiplex.

I don't. Even so, given the concept of time travel, its connection to Flash, and it being pretty clear that Flash and Reverse Flash where fighting years, the idea of some crazy plan Wells cooked up with his future/present/past self sounds possible to me.

From what the ending "appears" could it be that the SUIT is what actually gives reverse flash his powers... that is why he calls himself the reverse... and maybe what he wants is to have flash's power w/o the suit.. Innate, like flash.

I want to know why they made a point to show his clothes shred without the suit, but now his clothes stay intact, It drives me nuts when shows do that.

I think Reverse Flash's powers might be a) finite, and b) tied to his costume, like his early origins.

The lack of an unlimited power source would explain why he's only made a handful of appearances since the fight. And the gadget he stuck on the suit afterwards seems to be charging it somehow, probably using the tacheons/takeons/however-you're-supposed-to-spell-it he stole. His powers being artifical would also explain why we haven't seen him use the powers while in his civilian clothes, and why he might be faster: he draws from a different instrument for his speed, so it's a bit like steroids. Short term gains, long term failures.

And Ronnie's saving the day was awesome. Somehow, I didn't call it, even though in hind-sight it's one of the main reasons he returned for tonight.

Also, I'm calling it: Eddie is Malcolm Thawne from the comics, Nora got pregnant while traveling the world, and he wanted a piece of the case in part because he also wants to find Nora's killer.

The most famous version of the Reverse Flash is a time traveler from the future, so through time travel he could put himself in two places at the same time, and as we saw here, beat the crap out of himself, which is a pretty effective way to keep people from suspecting his identity. I'm thinking Wells may be a descendant of Eddie's so that's why he didn't kill Eddie.

I'll be completely honest, I know nothing about the Flash so this show has been my intro to the character. I was reading up on RF and I noticed some similarities to different versions of the characters. I initially thought Wells was an older Barry and the line about how they're not too different implied that, but based on the character history, I think Wells is from the future but he tried to gain powers of his own but saw Barry got affected and realized he needed Barry in order for him to gain powers in the future. It seems he only gains speed through the suit and he killed Barry's mother to ensure Barry went down this path, which ties into what his father said about his life following this path because of what happened.

My biggest question though is, did Cisco imply that maybe the Flash was with the RF when his mother died, meaning they both went back in time?

Fairly safe bet that Barry was trying to stop Reverse Flash at the time of his mother's death, something I suspected from the moment I saw the scene in the pilot. The season finale should be pretty epic.

Just WOW, what an episode. I don't know what WB has planned for the Flash movie, but I have a hard time believing it can top this show. It is everything you can ask for in Flash live action. WOW.
