I think GL will show up sooner or later. Might wait for Jensen Ackles to have time to be a special guest star though. I do think it's possible they are angling for a Green Lantern or Firestorm spinoff.

**** **** **** if they got Ackles as Hal, i don't even know what i'd do.

I just want a Hal TV series so bad. I don't even care about Green Lantern being in the JL movie or even being in that Flash/GL movie, I just want a GOOD GL tv series along the lines of BSG, Farscape, Firefly and Star Trek TNG..

are you aware of the relationship between Hal and the two biggest characters in the Arrow/Flash universe? Probably not. It's not fanboy wishful thinking. It's logic. Paired with the hints that we've already gotten.

We have Ra's Al Ghul in this universe. A year ago, people like you would be posting here and on the Arrow forums saying how a physical appearance from Ra's is nothing more than "usual fanboy wishful thinking". How wrong people like you were.

Maybe Hal won't be allowed on the show, but you can bet your ass that the creators have at least tried to get him on the show.

At this point, its just a matter of if WB will allow them to use the character. And with Oliver Queen, Barry Allen, Ra's Al Ghul, The Atom and Firestorm already in this universe, I really don't think it's that far fetched to think Hal will show up.

It will depend on if Flash can cash in on Arrorws Success if the Flash does as well as Arrow is doing I think its very possible we could see a Hal Jordan in the Flash type Universe.

Firestorm is a hard sell show wise imo

Truthfully, I wouldn't expect Hal to show up at least until the end of this season or beginning of next one. If they manage to give Firestorm his powers early, Hal could be episode 20 Barry and Firestorm are two major heroes as is. You don't want to crowd Barry out of his own show. Hal spinoff? could be good, but it wouldn't come till next season at the earliest, and to be honest, I'd settle for "Special Guest Star Jensen Ackles as Green Lantern a couple times a season on here or Arrow.

Well, bringing in Hal as the next BIG DC Superhero would make sense.

By bringing in Barry for Arrow, last season, it gave them the chance to introduce powers and metahuman abilities within the universe.

With Hal, they'll get to go even further by introducing elements that derive from the Cosmic Side of the DC Universe.

Though, I would think that Hal would be the HARDEST to pull off when compared to Barry because Hal's powers aren't exactly cheap to do, let alone the environments that he's normally associated with.

Oh I don't think it will be in the 1st season we aren't getting Ras a Ghul on Arrow now in the 3rd season. but still I think there's a chance in the 2nd and 3rd season if it gets renewed.

We ARE getting Ra's Al Ghul in the third season of Arrow.

Exactly why I don't think he'd ever be anything more than a guest star on someone else's show. They're not giving him a full-blown series of his own, either it'd be a very dialed down version of GL or it would be the most expensive show ever.

Well Green Lantern has already been teased for a while now...

i think he'll be introduced this year or next year

You know, on another note...when it come to the romance aspect of this show and how this is still a part of the "CW" Network, given on how "Arrow" handle it...I wouldn't be surprised is this is how things map out for the course of the first season....

• Barry has a fling with Plastique in the way that Oliver had with Huntress.
  
• Killer Frost ends up developing romantic feelings for Barry after moving on from her husband. They potentially hook up with each other at some point but when she finds out that Barry still has a thing for Iris, it becomes one of the reasons why she ends up going to the dark side.
  
• Iris leaves "Zoom" for Barry by the end of the season after realizing that she gets jealous from seeing Barry with Felicity/Frost...which prompts Zoom to pull a "Slade" on everyone.lol

The Vampire Diaries -the first major shipping show of the channel- is a sinking boat, fans are not happy with it, actors are discouraged and hinting that this could be the last season since their contracts are ending. Gossip Girl who also had a big wave of shippers, ended almost two years ago, Supernatural has no place for female characters (any love interest writers try to do is butchered by the fangirls) so that leaves them with Arrow (possibly flash) and The Originals

Tonkin's performance in the finale thoroughly disproved that IMO.

I have seen a couple things that indicate Kat Graham and Paul Wesley might be unhappy, but 90% percent of the press this show gets is about Dobrev/Somerhalder's love life so who knows?. Oh Sawyer? as far as Tonkin being better than Holt, don't really think so, but if you are wrong, the Originals is going to be cancelled quickly.
