probably just the lighting, the lighting in that pic is very dark and cold, whereas in the new promo pic it's warmer and brighter which brings out the red.

Well, these photos should certainly make for some fun speculation, I'm thinking trickster.

The suit has been tweaked quite a bit.

The yellow trace has been modified, and is bolder now. The wrist bands are a tighter fit now, and now stretch around the thumb.

Also, the arm portions of the suit have had leather portions added to the elbows, which extends down to the the wrist/thumb assembly.

Lastly, the leather material on the suit had been modified, and is now more padded. And, overall (in addition to the lather portions), the suit has a much more snug, streamlined fit.

Hopefully by S2 (hopefully) they will give him the yellow boots and yellow belt or something that comes from the comics. I'm just not a fan of his entire costume blending in together.

Zap2it are reporting that Star Crossed actor Greg Finley has joined the cast of the CW's Flash tv series as Tony Woodward, aka Girder. It seems the S.T.A.R. Labs explosion in the pilot episode gave Woodward the ability to transform his skin into metal, and in episodes 6 and 7 of the series he'll be giving Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) plenty of headaches..especially when you take into account that Woodward used to bully young Barry back in school.
