I will question the authenticity of that description, cause whatever is leaked is usually questionable

BUT - THAT being said, I'm kinda okay with a "love triangle" between Thawne and Iris. That actually kinda works because, how many times did Thawne try to pass himself off as Barry in the comics? Quite a lot. He tried to marry Iris once on the day of Barry's wedding, he made advances toward her several times and went after her multiple times and eventually killed her because he couldn't be with her. He wants to humiliate Barry in any way and what better way to do that than to try and seduce the girl he knows Barry has feelings for or is "supposed" to be with? (Even if he knows he can't get her, he'll still try - he is one of the most demented villains in comics) I actually dig that a lot and it is kinda true to the comics....just so long as this guy turns out to be Thawne from the future and it doesn't come off like they just decided to turn the "jerk trying to steal Barry's girl" into the big bad villain behind all. Execution is key here.

The marriage is once
I remember him doing it only twice to get Iris to love him, other times he used different ways, like telling Barry he will be the cause of his own wife's death going near her

Agreed, he's one impressive sicko

Indeed. He is one screwed up **** and has been so since the silver age, and that's part of why I love him.

That'd be awesome. Even in Return of Barry Allen, one of the best Flash stories ever told, he does some sick stuff. I love the part where he's going to vibrate his hands through Linda's head (I think), killing her on TV. That was a great story.

Both zoom and professor zoom are my favourite villains. But I think thawne is more mess-up..

Maureen Ryan Just watched #TheFlash fall pilot. Very solid start. Usual excellent direction from D Nutter. Secret weapon: Tom Cavanagh's blue eyes.

I like the idea of Thawne dating Iris. He's trolling Barry already and he doesn't even know he hates him yet (....as far as we know).

Anyway, I'm not against romance and love triangles, just depends on how it's executed.

Just got back from DOFP, Quicksilver was the highlight of the film for me. the way they handled his speed was perfect. i'd love if this show did something similar

Yeah, turns out the way to make Quicksilver interesting is to turn him into Impulse. :oldrazz:

TV vs. Movie budget. No contest! They used high speed cameras for that scene.

We'll just have to wait three years for Justice League for a proper depiction of the Flash in action! Till then the TV show will just have to tide us over.

Something to consider is that Arrow has played loose with the characters' rolls, already. When they introduced Tommy Merlyn in season 1, would anyone have predicted that he would get killed off?
