Yeah I had visited the arrow board here and saw Thea will have a new love interest, plus I had read elsewhere of the Ray/Felicity/Oliver triangle coming. Didn't know at all about Oliver/Felicity/Barry until you just told me.

Don't get me wrong, on the one hand I'm glad Barry might not be doing the whole pining in the background thing in regards to Iris, and may pursue love interests in his own right. But since I don't ship Olicity or care about that ship at all, I'd rather he get a love interest on his own show over him being a foil for olicity. Like I said, I don't care much for the pining in the background/waiting for their LI to notice them, getting all sad faced/angry when that character gets someone else, I don't care for that, but at the same time plz no to the triangle with olicity and Barry.

I totally agree about Slade. Wish they had given him better motivations than what he got. Especially since, imo, him liking her came outta nowhere anyway.

i dont think their fight will be about a triangle. Episode four, as far as ive read, is supposed to give closure to whatever feelngs barry may have for felicity.

Do you guys think that The Flash will be better than Arrow? (I do) I like the lead characters a lot better, I think the acting is better also (already).

I don't usually like things on the CW in general, they have wronged me too many times. I am fairly hopeful on this one.

I have mixed feeling about Arrow...

Arrow season 3 looks like the best season yet. That recent trailer makes season 3 look amazing

Andrew Kreisberg:

The hardest thing is that some of these characters have been around since the '50s and '60s, and they could very easily head into camp. And when you hire people like Wentworth Miller [as Captain Cold] and Dominic Purcell [as Heat Wave] and Rob Knepper [as Clock King], some of these outlandish comic book characters become very grounded and very scary and very real. I mean, with Wentworth, no pun intended, he's just so cool -- he's so cool, like Clint Eastwood. He's like an Old West gunslinger, and that's sort of how we portray him. You're only as good as your villain, and especially in movies, some of the Batman movies have had some of the greatest actors: Heath Ledger and Liam Neeson and Tom Hardy playing these villains and they really feel like threats. And sometimes on TV it's harder to make that happen, and we've been so blessed on "Arrow" with John Barrowman and Manu Bennett, and on "Flash" on Episode Four we've got Wentworth Miller, and in Episode Five we have Clancy Brown [as General Wade Eiling]. So we just feel so blessed that we've been able to attract the kind of talent we have, because in addition to the visual effects, if you don't have these amazing actors it's just a cartoon.

Eh, I don't know. I've been saying this since they announced this TV series: making the Rogues dark and edgy would completely deform the characters.

And I'm all for new takes on comic book characters, but I can't say I feel excited when I read stuff like this. I mean... that self-aware cheesiness is a big part of these characters. Arguably my favorite part :csad:

But yeah, I'm gonna watch it anyways haha :oldrazz:

I DLed the leak but decided not to watch it. Going to make sure this show gets a point in the ratings from me. Super excited to see where this goes

I watched the leak and am still going to tune in Oct. 7th to watch it again, even though it doesn't matter either way since I don't have a nielsen box.

Maybe they'll only portray them that way in their initial showdowns with Flash, then when they ultimately decide to team up they lay down ground rules that they don't kill kids, etc?

Oh this fall is going to be so friggin awesome, can't wait.

The guy writing that script gives me serious doubts. Beside if there is gonna be a titans show it's needs to be in the Arrowverse. Already got Aresenal, Deathstroke, and Wally potentially coming.

Agreed.

REALLY hope its in the DCCU universe not cwverse. That universe needs to be expanded and throwing it all in the tv verse is questionable

I hope the Teen Titans series is connected to cw, so whoever plays Wally can be in.

Also, 3 more weeks before the premiere of The Flash!
