I doubt it. She was even writing in the same language as Barry was at the beginning of the season and a little to convenient that they found a bi-racial actress who is white/black for the role.

I like to think i know the flash pretty well but i dont remember iris being this much of a lead or bossy.

I think there's many things on this show that don't match it's source material. Iris being team leader isn't the first and I doubt it'll be the last.

Didn't you know Iris 2.0 is the new Felicity?

With no separate side story away from the main characters, no supporting cast for her and no villains brought in specifically for her, even made up for her... I 'd say Iris isn't in the Felicity wheelhouse at this point.

There is no proof she is Iris and Barry's daughter. They could be pulling something out real soon with her. I'm sure the more we see of her the clearer it will be. Also, they didn't show any part of her being a speedster. Just that she was writing in a futuristic language. Cisco is just as nerdy as Barry.

Hiring a bi-racial actress when your main couple is an interracial couple, her being a bit geeky, fawning over Barry, writing in the same language he was....there is more to gear her towards Barry/Iris relative then Cisco/Gypsy.

Also, when Ralph said "Allen always pays" and the next shot showed her paying for their drinks. She's an Allen.

Another good episode tonight this season continues to go nicely. Even when episodes are kind of like filler episodes this year they are really entertaining. The end of this episodes makes things more interesting going forward. Much better season then seasons 2 or 3 much better.

this isn't flash it's iris west show so of course she will be their daughter or grand daughter.

i didn't watch last 2 episodes and i won't.there is no hope for flash. with those set pics we already know depture of andrew Keisberg and greg Berlanti take more active role is changing nothing.it remains iris west show.

all caitlin/killer frost fans should pray next season they move her over to lot like they have wally. that is only hope for her to get anything to do since these writers care only about iris and serving her.

Mystery girl is totally related to Barry and Iris otherwise she wouldn't have been so excited about their wedding. But a nice twist would be if she's Joe and Cecile's kid but that requires imagination from the writers.

They really should call the show Central City if they're going with a Flash-less Flash show. Works for Gotham. Then Ralph can stay, because with Iris in charge, the show is going to need all the comedy it can get.

oh and Barry literally moved him to the other side of the planet in less than 5 seconds.... but could barely catch up to Samurai in episode 1...

I can't say yes or no right now because it doesn't *seem* like the show is going for the next member of Team Flash with her abilities. Then again, we've seen a revolving door of heroes, so the writers might be planting that seed for some future arc where one of TF's metas goes on hiatus.

this isn't flash it's iris west show so of course she will be their daughter or grand daughter.

For the past 3 episodes Iris has done 2 relevant things, talk to Barry and incapacitate Dwarfstar. She's had 3 episodes with character work in them (4 if you count the KF episode, but Iris was a tool for Caitlin/KF's character there). Iris has had 4 episodes where she's had an importance in the story and in those episodes she was still sharing the episode, with Cisco, or Caitlin, or Cisco and Gypsy and Barry, or Ralph and Caitlin and Barry. Caitlin's had 3 episodes with character work in them. Barry and Iris having a daughter from the future is as much about Barry as it is Iris.

Caitlin this season had her own side plot away from the main characters that tied in to the main season plot and her own villain in Amunet. Iris has had talking to Barry and giving directions. I think that Iris isn't being served, Caitlin is.
