Because?Yep. I specifically said it's bad to ask questions.
Does it matter? Me or a friend, I posted the questions. Given the number of Iris fans here, who better to answer those questions?I didn't think you were asking questions, though... Isn't it your friend?

Last season Iris joined the team. This season she's the leader. Both makes no sense at all. When this is pointed out, racist or sexist or hater is thrown out as the defense yet that still doesn't explain why she's on the team or is the leader. I take it you can't explain it either.
I didn't realize Mon-El got so much hate on twitter. But yeah, the Iris hate is pretty strong here.
The only Arrowverse character that annoys me is Guardian , but even then, I find him more laughable then a character I hate. I get more mad at weak or lazy writing and storytelling than at fictional characters.
Literally no one in here said you have to love Iris. NO ONE. You can hate Iris for all eternity for all I care. We just said to find other things to talk about in this thread. The hate in here has gone far beyond any intellectual discourse and most certainly qualifies as beating a dead horse. You all are saying nothing you haven't said 10 million times, and saying the same thing over and over only serves to deter people from attempting any genuine discussion here, as you can see multiple testimonies to on the previous page.I didn't know I was supposed to love a character that isn't written in a favorable way. Good to know.
The point is Iris has way too much screen time and that reveals problems that people tend to point out. Some agree and some don't. She is a Mary Sue, upgraded to "leader" with no skills set. That much is clear. Hence why the dislike continues.
Iris has been told she's doing something badly and the show have treated that as legit criticism, she was shown to fail in Girls night Out at saving that guy and had to be saved by Killer Frost and fail at convincing Ralph, and her focus hasn't been much, particularly in the last 4 episodes. I don't think I would describe her as a mary sue.The point is Iris has way too much screen time and that reveals problems that people tend to point out. Some agree and some don't. Ah! I'm sorry. I thought the post was about Iris hate. Thanks for not deleting my post.Take it to the Iris thread guys, I'm not kidding. Any other posts about Iris in here, I will delete.
As long as it's not... wait... wrong thread. And show.
Phew, glad to be wrong then.
Why is Iris on the team? Why is she the leader? Anyone have answers to that? Asking for a friend.
So, Iris criticism should be in the ep threads while pro-Iris is allowed in the general thread. Got it.
Speaking of, Ralph has been the saving grace of this season, but when he started down the path of broodiness in True Colors, then he needs to go, and I don't mean joining the Legends. I'm not here for Barry or Ralph or anyone going all navel-contemplating. Also, while I was happy that Joe won't be alone anymore, Cecile has outstayed her welcome. She's now as forced and lazy plot device as the other love interests in the CWverse between her baby and powers. Who asked for this? Any of this?
When it hits me that we won't see another eppy until the 27th:

Apparently some did not read Flickchick's warning.....so, if your post was just deleted...you might want to go back and check out the warning...because it was not heeded by you.
This...
I just read your post Kelly deleted and I think you misread my initial warning. We are banishing all talk of Iris, both positive and negative, from THIS thread, not the board. Because she has officially become a derailment topic for a "general discussion" thread. That is, it's part of our job to ensure that healthy discussion keeps flowing on these boards, and when discussions start hitting a wall or going in circles, that's when when we step in and tell people to move on. Especially when it gets so bad that it actually deters regular posters from coming in here at all. And when people refuse to move on, that's when we banish the topic to a more appropriate thread. Which is where we are at now. Because the only thread on the Flash board that should be so completely dominated by talk of Iris West for weeks on end is...the IRIS WEST thread.Well, someone is clearly not able to handle some critique, which is what I did expect, so no surprise there. Nothing of my post did break any rules, I did not insult, said something hateful, sexist, demeaning or anything of that kind. You clearly just don't like when someone points out that what you're doing is pretty shady and without any base, but sure, why not. You're an admin and apparently that kind that makes uncomfortable posts they would rather not face just go away. Good for you.
Maybe not in the finale but I could definitely see them doing that later in the season. To keep this on topic, I just hope the finale doesn't end with Devoe nabbing Barry's body, but I wouldn't put it pass them.
I think I made a post earlier, but it wasn't about that, so I'm not sure why it was deleted, if I'm not misremembering me posting it. Did I?Apparently some did not read Flickchick's warning.....so, if your post was just deleted...you might want to go back and check out the warning...because it was not heeded by you.

This is a well-worn practice on the Hype. If you don't believe me, go back to look at the Superman boards pre-Man of Steel. You'll see the mods back then were forced to make separate Henry Cavill (BEFORE he was cast as Superman, mind you), Brandon Routh and Tom Welling threads and banish talk of them in other threads because they were such fan faves that every casting thread and general discussion thread inevitably turned into an endless Routh vs. Cavill vs. Welling debate that never went anywhere other than resulting in posters sniping at each other. So yes, sometimes we banish topics from main threads when they become overbearing and fruitless to the the spirit of discussion.
If you think that's stupid, fine, but either adhere to it or find a board to post on that's more your speed.
