I can't believe that anyone is still bothered by that line. I understood why people were bothered by Barry being overly reliant on his team in S1 and S2 (aka the "pep talk era"), but some mere symbolic language?
So Wentworth Miller has clarified at a comic-con panel that his upcoming Flash episode will probably not be the last time we see him, it's simply the end of him being contractually tied to the show/character, and isn't him closing the door on Flash and Legends. So there's still a chance we could get a decent Flash vs. Rogues story at some point.
I'm glad that Gustin's Flash doesn't come off like a sidekick. With Oliver being the more experienced hero and Arrow providing Flash with a backdoor pilot, I was initially worried that Barry might always be written as star-struck around Oliver.

It's a line that makes no sense on any level and comes off as insulting to Barry. I get the whole when your married then you become a half of a whole concept but that doesnt mean that Iris would or should get to say that she is the Flash as well. You don't see Lois Lane saying that she is also superman as well despite the fact that she is more vital to Superman's role as a hero than this version of Iris West is.
It just reeks of the same quality that Hashtag Feminism line came from and for the record I have got nothing against feminism but how they have portrayed it on this show and elsewhere is a mockery of it imho.

If it weren't said by Iris, the hate wouldn't be so strong.
But between this and Iris "is a mean girl! she doesnt care about Felicity! she isn't friends with Felicity! She is two faced!" over the wedding line, it's exhausting to be an Iris fan right now lol.
Why didn't he take running lessons? Or why didn't they pick someone who could run properly? The whole character is about running. You can't exactly gloss over that.

It's reminiscent of the Laurel hate. And unjust to the capacity it's at too. I think making her team leader is silly, but it's just a thing. The most she's done for the majority of the season so far is give directions and pep talks. She's not made out to be a genius and has been told that she's wrong more than once this season which she's taken seriously and every time she's fought in the field against anything other than humans, she's failed. It's not a big deal.
dont forget that every thing can get improved by time?
also he never used that much his powers in the ezra miller version in Justice League.
If they plan more sequels they dont only think about fans but alo future dans and not fans that need to like the character and see his growth.
Now every one watched every animated movie or series or live action series.
There are many things that could be done.
Imagine another aprroach of sarviatar in ezra millers solo movies in the future.
Sarvitar could be realated to Barry, someone from his future.
The romantic relation ship between him and Diana Prince could give a fruit in future that could want to change the past for that... imagine this. goodly powers... would make Godspeed and Sarvitar in one person, someone who wants to be a hero but also that tries to change Barrys life and train him for the worst in future.
but who is so mad and misleed to want decide for him and about the life of others,
dont say anybody only dc creators through petitions and emails
If it comes to the series I hope for season 4, 5 and 6:
-return of black flash or new black flash that would be a villian more for barry(maybe a demon, not neccesary solomon)
- professor zooms return with more twist
-alien invassion that would relate more to the flash himself
- future flash working with the flash to stop Apokolips
- maybe a yellow or red lantern? if not green one?
and other comic and series villians of othe Justice League characters???
for one episode
-fight against a demon?
- Abra Kadabra as a main villian
-Apokolips relations and villians?
-cloud creatures
-better weather wizard battles in future

That all sounds fine, but they got the basics wrong IMO. He runs like an idiot. He's goofy and not particularly heroic. His personality was boring, and just a running (pun intended) gag reel. There's nothing particularly compelling about his character. I'm not even worried they're going to completely misfire with the flashpoint story, since the expectation in my head is that they simply will.
They've already missed the mark, just like they have with their interpretations of all the Justice League characters not named Wonder Woman and Cyborg.
Actually, as far as the future of the serie goes, I feel they're a bit trapped because of this Embargo WB is still imposing. Again.
No JL in the Arrowverse and no deathstroke, yeah to avoid comparison in casethe CW with low-budget would be able to make better than the cinema version. This is actually denying that TV can be better than cinema.
I'm pissed by this. They have Superman, Green Arrow, the Flash, Martian Manhunter, they could go and do something big dammit.
I really want to have more from this CW Superman, I was all hyped by his presence. I mean having him on TV AND Henry Cavill on cinema was fine.
I'm pissed by this situation. It's like WB wants to adapt to a new situation without changing the old rules. It seems the recent fails are not enough.

Ditto. The worst offence is that WB seem to think people actually care that there's the same (but different) characters on TV and film. Like it matters.
^I wish I watched the same show you did. Sounds awesome. The Legends of Tomorrow I watch continues to throw everything but the kitchen sink at the wall to see what sticks, while most of it still doesn't 3 seasons in, has yet to find chemistry among half of its mostly forgettable cast and decent ways to utilize its more powerful characters. And keeps repeating the same time travel problems, just calling them something new. It is, to me, a total mess of a show, which just lost its best actor to boot.
I'll give you Arrow, but otherwise, I'll take this season of Flash and Supergirl over LoT any day of the week.
I agree I think the writers at LoT don't have a clue what comics are about, half the time i think the show is a spoof of a superhero show. If they keep claiming the CGI budget is stopping them from using powers then GET RID OF THE DAMN SHIP!. They can use portal watches like Rip and his agents do. We watch to see the heroes not the damn goofy ship
All the fans of this superhero show seem to be clamoring for the exit of the second billed actress on the almost network show not as good or as popular as the others on the almost network. The thing is though, to get rid of her would cost a ton of money because she is brilliant (one of the smartest actresses on television) and from day 1 has been documenting every time she has been sexually harassed or had other things said to her which were objectionable. The producers know she has it because they tried to fire her before.
Candice Patton/The Flash (This blind was four months before Andrew Kreisberg was fired)
