Man I am so ready for the rest of this season. This show is just :hrt:

Vehemently disagree.

I'm assuming that Barry is going to...

Reveal that he's the Flash to Iris within a upcoming episode.

However, I have a theory that Barry might end up reversing that decision when he plays around with Time Travel, so that by the end of that episode.... Iris will no longer be in possession of that knowledge.

Barry may end up going back in time to reverse it due to something bad happening after she finds out.

That idea brought back some bad Smallville memories,

If Barry reveals his ID to Iris I would not want them to undo it like Smallville did with Lana, I want the show to continually move forward rather than going backward.

That trailer got me so AMPED for the rest of this season. That's all I have to say.

Also....can't we at this point just officially say the 90's show is canon and have Barry's father be the "original" Flash? :woot:

Maybe it was before the Reverse Flash changed the time stream. Or they could get away with doing that anyway.

smiled like the chesire cat when Hamill showed up in the trailer XD
can't wait to see the trickster episode

I actually think it was pretty fly of them to use Hamill's 1990s' Flash footage as archive footage here. Very slick.

"Lisa, Flash, Flash, Lisa."

Good lord, I love the Rogues!

Now I'm hoping Weather Wizard II joins up with them as their heavy hitter.

I wish the episode with Mark as a two part event. I hope they don't kill him off in order for the new Trickster to shine on his own.

I was wondering when they would have Barry do a suit change like that since they showed Clark do it on Smallville before.

Your idea sounds a lot like Smallville's 100th episode, which really changed the show for me.

lol; well it's not that I'm a fan of them going down that route, but given on how they'll be having Barry exploring his ability to travel through time, I could see the situation mentioned above happening.

Plus, I doubt that they'll let the two become a couple this early into the series, unless they plan on breaking them up again (and that's never a good idea.lol)

Just as long there isn't some death and "universe has to find balance" BS leading to another character dieing, I'm good.

That was so much BS on Smallville, Lana dying was a good move, she was starting to overstay her welcome and her death was well done, then they brought her back to life before the end of the episode and unceremoniously killed off pa Kent instead, worst trade ever. Especially considering the trainwreck of a storyline that Lana went through afterwords.

I hope they end up going there. It would be just too freakin' good to be true!:drl:

THEY BETTER NOT!!!!!!!!:argh:

I want Iris to find out already. She's the love interest and thus the one person who CANNOT know (per cliché CB "drama" rules), and dragging it out is getting annoying. EVERYONE else knows except for her (well and Eddie, but he's a different story).

Most definitely. One episode is not enough to contain Mark Hamill!

Pretty good trailer, Liam McIntyre will be a badass Weather Wizard, long live Spartacus!!

But you love, love talking about Arrow, so... :woot: ;)

It can't work, two different continuities, the 90's show had their own Henry Allen, Captain Cold, etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Flash_(1990_TV_series)

Well, something will go terribly wrong so Barry will have to let his mom go and fix the timeline. Either he loses his powers or someone else dies, maybe his father, Iris, Joe... we'll see. These producers love melodrama, so I won't be surprised. Unfortunately, I think sooner or later they will ruin The Flash like they have done with Arrow and the Green Lantern movie script (by Berlanti & co), but time will tell.

Well, I was thinking in terms of how SV dealt with this. They gave Clark the power to go back in time a few hours and change everything. He was warned that a balance would be met and he didn't give a damn.

But, with this show I assume they're going the "Butterfly Effect" route where an action can change everything big or small. Much like Flashpoint (I've only seen the DTV). Probably would include someone else's death (with the more "drama" of it being prevented if Barry had powers).

"He'd have to be a....weather wizard....oooooh been waiting since week one to use that one"

:hehe:

McIntyre has been cast in ABC's Unveiled, so I don't think we'll see much of him.
