Felicity 2.0? Are they THAT obsessed with her that they just NEED to clone her?

That sounds so stupid. Then why do they even bother introducing their "main"/comic love interests at the very beginning of the show? For once Smallville did something right by introducing Lois halfway through the series.

They're spectacular on the mythology and characters ,but romance, not so much . I'll just gonna fast forward just like I did this season. I know there are alot of Barry /Caitlin shippers but after Olicity, I think its best Barry and Caitlin don't end up together.

I wouldn't mind if this was just a chance to get a decent guest star(Claire Holt, Laura Vandervoort maybe Ashley Benson) but the Patty Spivot character is very similar to Caitlin Snow. Even if she is Barry's new 52 girlfriend. Not sure if she's going to be just a Felicity Clone here.

I don't want another Felicity if they're talking about her personality along with her skills.

Another fun character for the show? Bring it on!

I couldn't stand felcitiy on arrow season 3.... I really really don't want a felcitiy clone on Flash.... Argh.

I do agree that this is patty though

Well I think it may be differnet than Olicity there has been a nice build up since episode 1, :cwink: I'm not really much a Olicity shipper but I love Snowbarry, :ilv: Caitlin brings out a side to Barry that no other girl has he acts more like a adult instead of a whiny, selfish, kid like he does when he around Iris/Linda. The first thing the media asks Danielle is what about Snowbarry? so Snowbarry is popular around the media, :woot: Also I got to ask this did Caitlin really had to look at Barry when she was saying her wedding vows to Ronnie? :cwink: Really when it comes to shipping its like civil war there's the Westallen team/Ironman and there's the Snowbarry team/Cap.

"I know what this show needs... ANOTHER FELICITY!"

So I watched the whole first season over the last week, and I must say, I loved it. Even teared up during the finale a bit.

- Love the S.T.A.R. Lab's crew. Love them. When ever they are interacting, I adore it. The bonding scenes between Barry, Caitlin and Cisco make the show for me.

- Wells and West are great supporting characters, with excellent performances. You can see the love and admiration they have for the young ones.

- I am a big fan of the pacing and feel of the first "half" of the season. The second is good, but gets a bit less fun and all the Barry/Iris scenes bring the show down.

- Iris is a poorly written character, but the actress does not help the situation. She does not invoke any sympathy from me. That she is on the same show as Panabaker's Caitlin makes it worse. How do you cheer for her with Caitlin around?

- I thought Eddie would be annoying, but ended up being really endearing.

- Grodd looked incredible. I was genuinely shocked by the quality of him in his episode.

- On an overall note, I think the look of the show is pretty darn great. It has some CW to it, but I think they used their budget wisely.

- One annoying thing about the show is how Barry's speed is handle. One second he can stop a bullet from blocks away, and pack up his apartment in less then two second. In another, he can't outrun some fighting him hand to hand.

- More Captain Cold and his sister please.

- I really feel like they nailed the big episodes and moments, outside of Iris. The birth of the Flash, "Run Barry, Run", Firestorm, Grodd, the finale. Great.

I am completely for Barry and Caitlin. There is actual chemistry there. When Iris is a round, she brings Barry, Eddie and Joe down.

The Flash rules :mnm:

Yeah, she's not a great character, but she's salvageable imo. Iris working as a reporter while occasionally helping Barry could be cool.

As for Barry and Caitlin, I honestly like them as good friends. Their dynamics work pretty well.

I'm just worried about what they writers will do if they get them together given their track record for writing relationships. But yeah, the actors have great chemistry and they fit well.

Thank god for movies and TV being separated.

It's a vague, 3-sentence, usually somewhat off description factored in before they have scripts or performances factored in. Every casting description for every show on every network is worded in a general ballpark to avoid spoilers.

They want a usually non-grim girl who can science things in a usually non-grim science fiction show. Calm down.

Considering the fun when Felicity was around, I could see them wanting a dynamic like that between Barry and a love interest.

She is salvageable if they change her character completely and/or recast. Which kind of defeats the purpose imo.

Felicity for Season 1 and a majority of Season 2 was great to watch imho. If they make her like that and not all "You decided to not be with me" crap, along with not wasting her time with pointless romances then she should be fine.

Yep also there been some hints/clues like Barry/Felicity in episode 4 talking about opposites attract which is the same episode where Cisco says Speed/Cold are opposites, :cwink: there been a lot of parallels between Barry/Caitlin it would take me all day to name them all, :woot: there also some Snowbarry/Snowstorm parallels. But with every ship comes a shipper war :csad: but this one takes the cake almost everytime any Snowbarry shipper posted something or say anything about it the Westallen fans comes down on them hard like they call them racist, white trash people, make fun of them for shipping Snowbarry. They do it to Danielle too on Twitter, Youtube, they call her a racist, white trash woman they beileve she is planning on taking the spot light from Iris West, :whatever: when they found out about episode 19 being Snowbarry they starting saying yeah I'm skipping that episode but when the Snowbarry found out about episode 21 being Westallen they didn't mind they just love watching the show. :woot: To me I think some Westallen fans are bullies to the Snowbarry's fans and Danielle :csad:

The reaction hasn't been all that extreme, so its not like fandom is in an uproar. The reaction seems to be more eye rolling then anything else.

I’m dying for some Arrow or Flash scoop! –Matthew
Arrow is seeking an Iris West type… No, just kidding. (Too soon?) The Flash, however – in addition to Wendy – is casting the season-long role of a classically handsome, square-jawed hero in his 30s to early 40s, a slightly cynical man “with an edge.” The casting call lists the character as “John Clark,” which is obviously fake/a nod to the DC Comics letterer. Though I must wonder if one of Clark’s works hints at the character being introduced….
Gotta be Garrick, right?
