Barry Allen in Season 2 of Arrow. There was even a slow dancing scene between he and Felicity. He seemed genuinely more interested in Felicity than he ever was in Iris. They have real chemistry. It was fun to watch. :D
The thing is EBR has chemistry with all of the guys. I could see the case of Olicity working in the beginning, but when Barry showed up, they had a more genuine geeky chemistry that made that pairing seem more realistic, and then Ray came along and they got along almost too well.

So I wouldn't exactly say he seemed more interested in Felicity since that's the effect she has on her male counterparts, but I will agree that that relationship makes more sense that Barry/Iris and Oliver/Felicity.

you know Felicity reminds me of Chloe while Iris reminds me of Lana, good thing I don't watch the show like I did Smallville, I already went on the Clark/Lana roller coaster. There's no need for me to go on the Clark/Lana roller coaster 2.0. :yay:

I like that about Emily too. Spot on with Ray coming in.

The writers keep writing scenes for them, much more meaningful, organic scenes. Much like Caitlin, she calls Barry out a lot, but does it in a classy, amiable way. When Iris does it, you get the feeling that she's mostly all about herself and not thinking about anyone else.

People hate on Chloe but they also ignore how well-developed she was as a character and Allison's acting had grown a lot the longer she was on the show. The Lana and Iris comparisons are hard to miss between the shows. I feel like it's de ja vous with the characters all over again. Lex=Tom. Eddie=Whitney. Pete=Cisco. Caitlin=Chloe. Joe=Johnathan. Lionel Luthor is the only character I can't place on TF. Probably because John Glover portrayed him so astronomically.

I wouldn't mind having something like this take place between Hawkman and Cisco on the show.

Call me crazy me but I see Caitlin more like Lois :yay: I wouldn't say Eddie is like Whitney was a jerk while Eddie wasn't, and a team up with Lex/Eobard is what I need to see. :yay:

Eddie was totally Whitney because he was the insecure, jealous ex who redeemed himself by season's end.

And Lois wasn't part of the original Smallville cast :oldrazz:

Lets see Whitney bullied Clark while Eddie tried to be Barry's friend who was also the only person who said anything about lying to Iris, Whitney was hated by the fans while Eddie was loved by the fans except the WA's, if anything Eddie was like Nolan's Harvey Dent. :yay:

Eddie was not liked at first because he was coming off as the stereotypical jealous boyfriend, but once he learned about Barry and was a fan, he became more likable.

Whitney suffered the same start, but he had his arc where his dad died and he decided to join the Marines, which seemed more like a redemption phase for him. His character, however, was clearly killed off to leave no obstacle for Clark and Lana, (unless Eric Johnson just wanted out of the show).

But characters were already "bad" because of who they were dating, but when you took that away, they were decent people that could be liked.

On a side note: I'm pretty sure I saw John Wesley Shipp outside my job yesterday. I would have stopped him but I'm too shy and he was fidgeting with his phone loll

Well I remember reading somewhere if the writers had there way Bruce Wayne was going to steal Lana away from Clark but DC/WB said no, also I remember reading that at first the show was going to be called Bruce Wayne the plot was Bruce becoming Batman but somehow it was changed to Clark Kent becoming Superman same plotline just different name and title.

It was rumored that Bruce Wayne was supposed to appear in season 3, but that got scrapped because of Batman Begins, so the character's name was changed to Adam Knight and he served as a romantic interest for Lana, after her break up with Clark.

But Smallville was initially supposed to be a Batman origin show, titled Gotham. It's funny to see how 13 years later that finally happened. The biggest difference is that we would have most likely seen Batman on that show. I don't think we'll ever see Batman on Gotham now, nor do I think the show will last long enough for a possible arc to occur.

But it's funny to think about what other shows we could have had. There was the failed Aquaman pilot, which paved the way for Justin Hartley to come onto Smallville as the Green Arrow (although it would have meant separate universes on the same network) and then the failed Wonder Woman pilot. I wonder how different things would be if those shows got picked up. I doubt we would have gotten the Arrow and Flash shows we have now.

Part of me thinks Hartley will show up on Flash or Arrow as Aquaman or Booster Gold eventually(If DC Warner Brothers get their act together) We are probably better off without that Wonder Woman show. I'd really rather have had that rumored Phoebe Tonkin WW appearance on Arrow

I feel like Batman will never be apart of Gotham much like Superman was never really a part of Smallville until the end.

Chloe isn't like Caitlin either.

Eddie wasn't bad at all. He wasn't unlikable at first either. I don't see how he came off as a stereotypical jealous boyfriend.

I'm just reading that now if what I'm reading is true then Bruce was to have a number of love interests in the show's first season, the one that stood out the most to me was a psychology student named Harleen Quinzel. :yay:

KID FLASH CASTING NEWS! @KeiynanLonsdale has been cast as Wally West in season 2 of #TheFlash!
I'm wondering about the interplay here. I can't see it as more than a setup and character introduction for a few. Kid Flash would seem to be waaaaaaaaaaaay down the line.

I can smell the popcorn already!

EW says he'll join in the Winter as a series regular.

Feels a bit soon, but I'm just glad they at least let the first season pass without bringing him in.

The actor may be considered a bit too old to be "Kid Flash" but I guess he play a few years younger
