After the most recent episode, I think we really ****ing need to see this guy on Earth 2... This tv series is literally the best place for us to ever get a live action version of Alan Scott. He and Jay don't really have a place in the movie universe, just bring him in!

With our luck, even if they brought in Alan Scott, it'd probably be the crappy New 52 version of him.

Gay Alan is totally cool with me. But his ring being powered by his love for his boyfriend is totally ****ing lame. Literally one of the lamest powers conceived in the comics. Completely horrible.

I say for the CW universe, they keep Alan gay, but get rid of that ****ing ****. It's incredibly dumb. The ring is powered by magic that Alan can't comprehend. Simple as that. And he HAPPENS to have a boyfriend. Nothing more to that...

I don't want people to get the idea that I'm homophobic, but I prefer the pre New 52 Alan Scott, and not because he was straight, but I feel like his characterization was better there.

The one with the daughter that got powers after she was born making her a meta?

Well I did like the pre new 52 better. only cause I do want to see his daughter and her brother in this verse. l but I have no problem with him being gay ether.

Maybe they can put it that he is gay but had the kid prior like with bruce jenner and wanting a sex change for him self. any way we'll see what they do if they even bother with Alan scott

Something just occurred to me. If Barry isn't the Flash on Earth 2, why would he have Bruce, Hal, and Diana's phone number? And why did he have a separate number for his dad along one with mom and dad?

Iris lived there too. The number for "Dad" was Joe. The number for "Mom & Dad" was Henry and Nora. Eddie was Eddie I'd imagine. The JL members were Easter Eggs, maybe they didn't have powers either. In the same way that all the same couples end up together and have the same kids genetically. Some relationships were meant to be.

Maybe they were just winks to the Justice League but weren't really meant to be taken as actually being Bruce Wayne, Hal Jordan or Diana Prince. Maybe they were just people named Bruce, Hal and Diana, but were also a little Easter egg for fans, kind of like how you get something named after a comic creator or a character in a movie.

So if he broke up with his boyfriend, he couldn't be a superhero? that is just stupid. :loco:And I would say the same if it was a girlfriend. They should also keep the pre 52 costume.

Well, since Barry isn't the Flash maybe they aren't Batman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman. :yay:

His boyfriend died in a train crash immediately before he got the powers.

If he somehow got into the Star Saffire corps, a love ring could make a little bit more sense in the dc universe.

Guys, don't believe everything that's being said on the internet.

James Robinson had Alan Scott turn his wedding ring (that was meant for his boyfriend) turned into the power ring, which was powered by the Green Flame.

Yep, I think some people are not really using their heads at all when it comes to this one. Some are Quick to of course make it seem like it's some sort of flaw. But this explanation works just fine. And makes total sense. If people would just use their heads a bit.

Can't even have a fun little easter egg in a show without people having a problem with it. :funny:
