One thing irritated me in the last episode. it's a tiny, minor thing in the grand scheme of the episode.... but being a Brit, it was irritating.

Caitlin mentions how Julian was in the 'Royal Army'.... There's no such thing. it's the 'Royal Air Force' and the 'Royal Navy' but it's also the 'British Army'

like I said, a minor thing... but still irritating that they didn't do a little research and correct that cock up

They don't care. They figure Brits don't watch this and Americans will never know the difference.

I can't get over how Savitar said he created himself... Wouldn't that imply he was NOT a speedster before? therefore rules out any speedster we may think "turns into savitar"?

it really is going to suck to wait a month long until the next episode.

It could be a time remnant of Barry who followed a different path instead of just disappearing. Maybe Barry did create him because he created that remnant to defeat Zoom. Or maybe he created him when he created Flashpoint.

When conveying his knowledge of the future to reinforce that he knew the secret identity of Savitar, the time-traveling Abra Kadabra insisted that he knew who all of The Flash's top adversaries: Zoom, Reverse-Flash and...DeVoe.That last one is probably a clue to who Barry will be tangling with in the show's fourth season as DeVoe likely refers to Clifford DeVoe, aka Thinker.

He's a Golden Age Flash villain who was originally a criminal defense lawyer that came to realize that individually, criminals are not very bright - but collectively, and with someone of greater intelligence providing direction, no single hero should prove their equal. Previously at PaleyFest, executive producers on The Flash confirmed that season 4 would not feature a Speedster as the primary antagonist and Thinker certainly fits that description.

Besides DeVoe, there have been several different incarnation of Thinker, who have all possessed different abilities (such as mental projections and the ability to control machines) making it possible for the show's creative team to cherry-pick from each iteration to make Thinker a more formidable opponent for Grant Gustin's Barry Allen.

Does Thinker sound like an adversary you'd like to see Barry face in season 4? With someone of his ilk calling the shots behind a group such as The Rogues or any other collection of metahumans the Flash has put away over the last 3 seasons, Team Flash might actually need to bolster its ranks!​

think about this one, the stone grants speed...the stone has been around for ages, if julian found the stone and gave himself speed then he essentially created himself.

the stone being as old as it is would imply that yes savitar would've been the first granted speed.

what if julian found the stone and was the first to get speed powers from the stone, this would make him more powerful than the other speedsters, he would then be able to alter past/present/future, the julian at team flash could be a time remnant of himself while the real julian is savitar....the same way the did it with zoom.

zoom made time remnants of himself multiple times, and savitar is more powerful than zoom and would be able to do stuff that zoom could not....meaning he could fool team flash by having julian act as alchemy and then really throw them a curve ball by revealing he was also savitar as the same time but just used time remnants of himself to get the job done.

That sounds great. I would have much rather they kept something like that for this season, rather than doing it already for Zoom. And Thrawn. They've had three times now that a friend turned out to be an enemy, and that would be twice then that Caitlyn fell in love with someone who was really the bad guy.

Far too repetitive if they did it yet again though.

Don't know if anyone here has suggested it, but might Savitar be Cisco? (1) He's pissed off about Barry not saving his brother (1-B) Savitar only appeared after Flashpoint (and the death of Cisco's brother. (2) The ability to vibe would give him the ability to vibe Flashpoint and thus he would know what happened in that universe as he begins giving folks their Flashpoint powers. (3) This prophecy from Savitar: "Well, that's because you're small, Cisco. You've always been small. Reverb told you that you could have been a god. But instead, you'd rather work as... tech support." (4) The desire Savitar has to punish Barry has to be personal. He could just kill him, but he wants him to suffer.

The Arrow and Flash teams need to get together before every season even gets started being written to make sure they don't have almost exactly the same plot (or villain motivations at least) as the other.

I would probably like that crossover better considering the crossovers we have had thus far meant that the main characters had to be off world somehow and it shortened their time on their own shows. Haven't really liked that thus far.

That'd be fun. But I am still waiting on them to adapt Justice Leagues fight club episode. Only person they don't have is WW but they could easily swap her out for SG.

Hmm, so if that's true, all that's needed to defeat Savitar is for Cisco to just forgive Barry. Like that scene in Meet the Robinsons where the kid defeats his evil future hat.

Now that I think of it the Cisco/Dante drama was wrapped up pretty quickly because Cisco was supposedly OOC and the viewers hated it so the writers brought it back where he's quipey Cisco again. Truthfully I don't think he's over it, at least not that quickly. Just like how Caitlin suppresses her emotions and rage, now she feels free with Killer Frost being let loose. I honestly think Barry deserves this for all the selfishness he's displayed lately. Also, being with Iris doesn't seem to bring him up at all despite all those pep talks, quite the opposite.

This idea's got me excited for the possibilities. I think they'd probably use Amaya instead of Mari, which I'd be fine with. (It wasn't Nate who was on the JLD but his cousin Hank III, so whatever.) And since Legends and Flash are on the same night (assuming they still will be next season) it would make for a pretty killer one-night crossover between just those two shows. And the final showdown between the League and the Big Bad would happen in Detroit.

Elongated Man was on the Detroit team too, now that I think of it. And Ralph was name-dropped way back in 'Power Outage' in Season 1, though I don't know if the show's writers have been keeping track. Maybe the crossover could bring him in somehow.

I can already tell based on the few clips that Ezra's Barry is going to be written better and less selfish. I appreciate Grant playing him longer and looking the part but the character has been dragged through the mud since last year. He's become Singer's Scott Summers of the DCTV. I want Flash to act like Flash.

That is the new character named Tracy Brand, played by Anne Dudek. Tracy is described as a quirky genius from the future. It would appear that she is talking Barry into the future with her.
