whoever savitar is, wells or not, I think it DEFINATELY is someone from flashpoint that didn´t appear in the 1st episode

Maybe Savitar is going to turn out to be Julian, and there isn't any Alchemy as such, only Savitar. It was all a ruse. Maybe when they think that Savitar is speaking through Julian, it's actually his real voice and he knows what he is doing and is aware of it the whole time.

It would fit with the pattern of all previous seasons: villain turns out to be an evil speedster who is someone trusted on their team, or someone that Caitlin falls for.

Finding it really hard to miss wally. Hope he stays in the speed force.

I'm the same. I think it was way too early to introduce him in the show and have him surpass Barry in terms of speed, it just added to the joke of "I'm the fastest man alive" during the intro.

Savitar possibilities, IMHO:

Wally. Jesse Quick saves him from going too far.

Julian. Killer Frost saves the day here.

Wildcard out of left field idea: Earth 2 Flash

Yes they should have changed that to "I'm the ONLY one not fast enough to save her"

I was joking recently that it was Wally, but isn't it obvious that Savatar is going to be Greg Grunberg's character?

Seems painfully obvious that Savatar is Wally. (Perhaps too obvious?)

Nail in the coffin for me was the line where Savatar expressed jealousy towards Barry being raised by Joe and his relationship with Iris. "You didn't deserve it".

Add to that the whole making-Wally-faster-than-Barry storyline which would explain why Savatar is faster.

Savatar also said he made himself - and they reiterated that Savatar made Wally (gave him his speed).

FLASH Facts: The Black Flash

Can only hope, but I won't believe it until I see it. Going to have to be a bad ass to be a major threat. Not sure the writers can reasonably do that.

I'd like to see a previously used villain get more powerful and come back as a season big bad, Weather Wizard or Mirror Master could certainly get more powerful, or they could use Kadabra, hoping his episode is to set him up as a later threat and not to waste him as a throwaway villain. There are still a lot of non-speedster Flash villains they could use.

It may be out of there comfort zone, but they certainly need a villain who isn't Speedster as the big bad. I frankly wouldn't mind if they went to one shot adventure/anthology episodes, which continue the storylines of the individual characters without a "big bad villain mystery arch" yet again.

You could have three part episodes which deal with one threat like Gorilla City and Attack on Central city did, but not make the season dependent on constantly trying to stop or unmask one villain.

They'd wanna avoid freak of the week filler villains and episodes, but I wouldn't mind if they changed it up a bit and told new and fresh stories without trying to fit it into a season long arch.

That is why not fully completing the Rogues was a terrible idea. They could have easily given each member 2-3 episodes to try and beat Flash. After they all lose on their own they go for a group effort.

Instead they throw Cold and Heat on a pointless show like LoT. They use Boomerang as a throw away character because the SS movie. We have not seen Weather Wizard in a while and he is so damn strong. I can easily see him being a main villain and Liam is charismatic.

I'd love to see Weather Wizard and Mark's Trickster recruit more Rogues for next Season and have it turn into a season wide story arc...or at least go on for the first (or second) half of the season.

It's why I thought a speedster for the first season's big bad was a bad idea. I would have slowed down Barry's speed progression so he only got as fast as he is now by season three.

Season 1 was perfect, Season 2 was a mess with a ton of missed opportunities. The problem with this season (3) is that it' basically just a rehash of season 1 and 2 mixed together. A Flash trying to get faster to stop another speedster from killing someone. people not being who they seem, people with newfound powers turning bad, Barry's "friends" constantly trying to guilt trip him and him questioning himself.
Wally is now Barry and Barry is now Oliver, The star of his own show who constantly has to give up screen time to nobodies. Next season he should realize he became the Flash alone in the OG timeline and kicks these loser to the curb. ha

Flashpoint served no purpose but to give Wally powers and to give Diggle a boy, all so he can cross-over with legends... great job guys. It should have been done season 2 because it wouldnt have undone all of barrys learning experiences in S2, or they should have embraced it and used it to soft reboot the cwverse into a more cohesive story. ie fix past eggs. (SHADO, Tommy,)

Arrow:go back to Dig,Roy, Speedy, and Ollie yr.One, new BC if she sticks - they actually stop bad things before they happen.
LEGENDS: should be canned or renamed ALL STAR: and use it to introduce weekly villains and one-off heroes.
BIRDS of PREY: Time displaced Black Canary, White Canary, Hawk girl, Huntress, Felicity (groan) and introduce Cass Cain batgirl. (batman tie-in)
FLA*****he Legends/time-masters come to Barry and show him proof of the OG timeline and ask him to fix it. He is skeptical but they assure him that he isn't alone and all the flashes will be needed for the merge. Right before the merger the sky glows red with speedforce and existence restarts itself back to S2 right before the flashpoint mess.

they could do a doctor who ...

make many stand-alone episodes and then connect it all by the end of the season

Figured a way to save Iris in the short term....Breach her to another Earth. Send her to Earth-38 with Supergirl or to Earth-3. I don't think Savitar can open breaches.
