I was just thinking, what if there's a bit of a power reversal between Frost and Cold, with cold having ice powers and frost using tech?

You think we might see the Flash ring where his costume pops up?

Well, the mask Barry gave Ollie is supposed to be made of " a compressible micro-fabric" (fibers?) which could be a hint that they will indeed do the ring gag. Both Arrow's mask and Flash's suit appear to be made of the same leather-looking material.

Wow. Well this is the biggest boost of confidence I think I could get for the show. I love Mark Waid and agree with his comments 90% of the time. If he liked it, I know I will. Very excited.

This is awesome, and probably the best news I've heard about the show. Also, I love that he says the "dead mom" bit doesn't grate in the show. That makes me so happy as I was not a fan of that retcon. God I am looking forward to this.

So far the only thing negative I can say about this is that I'm dissappointed that JWS is Barry's dad, not Jay Garrick. On reflection, in terms of negativity that aint bad when you think of it #nothing really to complain about in the grand scheme of things.

So looking forward to it. If only I knew what channel [and when] the U.K. will be getting it. Please dont be Sky Atlantic. Please dont be Sky Atlantic. Please dont be Sky Atlantic. Please dont be Sky Atlantic. Please dont be Sky Atlantic.

Great to hear Mark Waid loves it, I haven't read much of his stuff but I friggin love Birthright. Very encouraging all round. Sounds like the team behind The Flash won't be trying to copy Arrow and is confident enough to do its own thing, which sounds obvious enough but dark seems to be all the rage these days (which totally works for some character's but shouldn't be shoe horned onto others).

I went out and bought the first TPB of the new 52 Flash, the art looks fantastic, and having never read a Flash comic I can't wait to get stuck into it.

Mark Waid wants to write Superman

If you could write any comic book character–
    Waid: Superman.

Yeah, it's not an extended pilot from what I understand. As far as the ring...I may be in the rarity, but I think that's one of the silliest things and hope it's left out of the series.

It isn't nearly as silly as an entire costume magically popping out of a tiny ring on his finger with a lightning bolt on it. Suspension of belief is one thing. I've always thought the concept was stupid, even in the comics.

Basically, Sky was ordered (to avoid a monopoly) to let other TV providers show their channels, so SKY responded by rattling its dummy and creating SKY Atlantic, premiering most of the great shows there, as opposed to where they used to - SKY 1. Its exclusive only to Sky subscribers, and not available to those with another TV provider who would be willing to pay for it as an extra channel, you can only have it if you subscribe to a SKY package. I can't watch the new Game of Thrones as I have Virgin TV.

Logic would suggest that Flash goes to SKY1 just as Arrow has, but I'm preparing myself for the bums rush.

I enjoyed the volumes I have of the new 52 Flash graphic novels I got. I agree, the art is amazing. Pre-52 I had only read Flash: Rebirth (read Flashpoint as well) Really good stuff.

Now I'm addicted to Jeff Lemire's Green Arrow run... I hate waiting on TPB's. :(

It's crazy how close he was in being in charge of DC.
