Dr. Wells’ (Tom Cavanagh) former protégée, Hartley Rathaway (guest star Andrew Mientus), returns to seek revenge on his mentor after being affected by the particle accelerator explosion. Now able to manipulate sound waves, the brilliant Rathaway is a dangerous threat to both Wells and The Flash (Grant Gustin). Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) is thrilled when she’s hired by the Central City Picture News as their newest cub reporter. Unfortunately, her editor (guest star Tom Butler) pairs her with a veteran reporter, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Howarth), who wants nothing to do with her. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) recalls his first day on the job at S.T.A.R. Labs when he met Hartley and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Joe (Jesse L. Martin) asks Eddie (Rick Cosnett) for a favor but asks him to keep it a secret from Barry.

That is def what is happening. should be an awesome episode. I love the building dynamic between Wells and Barry and the surrounding mystery between their history/future.

I'm so used to the comic books that I had forgotten about that. However after watching The Man in the Yellow Suit again last night I was reminded yeah that's pretty much the rules for this show.

Dude, I think that it is actually Wells speeding away, they've already done
the most obvious reveal ever that he's the RF.

If you hit pause, you clearly see Wells standing up, it's clearly him
speeding away. Bathead, if I'm wrong I promise to eat my words,
but I think this is clearly Wells using his super speed.

Maybe this is the start of a sequence of events that leads to his
eventual reveal as RF.

Anyway, looks like another great episode

Great Gif ! Hard to make it more obvious than that (dude, I'm going to repost this in the "Speculation, who is Harrison Wells really" thread I started a while back, there are a few folks who might find it adds significant weight to the argument that Wells is indeed the RF).

- makes me even more psyched up for the eventual big reveal. I think Cavanaugh is going to absolutely kill it !

You know, at this point I've already accepted that due to the nature of comic book shows, I shouldn't expect cops to realistically act like cops when criminals are around (aka shoot at them when their backs are turn.lol) but it kind of seems counterproductive to have one episode where Flash was having trouble running around trying to dodge getting shot at by two regular guys equipped with powerful weapons and then go to this episode where we see Flash easily speeding up to the villain and stopping him from using his device.lol
