A bit of the Joker thing going on with Pied Piper right now. Although I'm honestly creeped out that he would be locked up (he isn't a metahuman as far as I can tell, just a smart guy with special gloves).

ETA: I guess I'm wrong about that, but that doesn't mean they knew that.

Was that a stunt double or a dummy? Because that push from the explosion looked like it really hurt.

They are turning RF powers into a joke now. I hope they fix it by the end of the episode.

So Piper actually has a valid agenda?

Failed how? They haven't been properly explained yet. :funny:

Wells falling down and not being able to run, not sure why, and also the RF in episode 9 was a beast and would have killed this Piper guy in his sleep. Here, Wells seems a bit helpless against him. Sigh, will wait till the end of the episode.

Wells also did all that against Barry while wearing the suit, which may stabilize whatever issues he has with his powers (he was seen attaching a device to the suit at the end of that episode). Maybe out of the suit he can only run in short bursts.

I know, which is why I said earlier that they are making his powers into a joke now. If its just the costume, what stopped him from wearing it, kill the guy, and put his suit back in the room. I think if its just the suit, Wells would probably like to keep it with him all the time, but for some reason (probably the writers) he choose not to wear it this time.

And the end of this episode just pulled it all together. Wells is LOSING his powers, and uses that device to stabilize it when he can. He plans on stealing the Flash's speed, which has been hinted at before this season, to permanently fix it. It doesn't make it a "joke", it just makes it a plotline, and a villain's motivation.

Linda Park next week huh?

The way Barry took down the Royal Flush Gang bikers was kind of clever. I thought that the Pied Piper's attack on Wells' home was a good showing of his power. Cisco's t-shirt made me laugh. I like that Eddie is starting to be suspicious of Wells. Joe laughing at Cisco's joke was great. Some of the CGI during Pied Piper's attack on that building looked cheap, but for the most part his confrontation with the Flash was pretty good. I like that Iris wants to be taken seriously as a journalist. Does Wells actually have trouble walking or was that due to Pied Piper's attack? Interesting that it was Wells that defeated Pied Piper and not Barry. Nice Firestorm tease. Speed Force mention!

Man, Gustin and Jesse L. Martin just have amazing chemistry together. You can clearly tell they genuinely like each other in real life. I hope they never kill off Joe West....

I am not familiar with the comics but it seems weird that Reverse Flash can lose his powers. I thought as long as Flash exist, RF would exist. Maybe it has something to do with Flash disappearing in the future. Too many questions regarding Wells, and then there is Eddie's connection to RF as well (maybe that's why he didn't 'find' anything at Wells house). I cant wait till the end of this season. I just hope they do justice to Wells character.

I don't know of any instance of it happening in the comics either, but this isn't the comics. Things will always be changed in adaptations to suit the story.

Well, what they showed tonight fits with the theory that Reverse Flash having lost his powers and is just taking the steps he feels he needs to in order to get them back.

LOL, but seriously, I feel like its only a matter of WHEN they kill off Joe rather than IF. A police officer father figure to the main hero and also the main hero's girlfriend's father? They're definitely gonna "Captain Stacy" him eventually, I just hope he sticks around for a couple of seasons.

Good episode but I still feel like there are two reverse Flashes. Wells being one of them was a given, I heard during the break Cavanaugh even admitted as much. I only believe half of what people say anyway. Throw in this guy is an actor on the show, no way he's given away a major plot thread like that. So my theory to this point still holds up, he's a RF, just not the one who killed Barry's mom.

That was a waste of the royal flush gang if that was really them...
