Well, we all knew time travel. I'm glad the characters are starting to learn it already.

He ain't dead, fool. Nuclear explosion is just part of his power set.

Awesome episode, and boo-yah Dr. Wells is not the same RF who killed Barry's mom.

I could have gone without the '80s changing clothes montage but the rest of Barry making saves during his date was kind of funny. Glad to see more of Firestorm's origin. Carlos Valdes and Jesse L. Martin have pretty good on screen chemistry together and I liked seeing them work the Nora Allen murder case. Now we know that Barry's Kryptonite is the ghost chili pepper. Wow great ending.

Great episode that showed the origin of Firestorm. Robbie Amell is making history as the first live-action Firestorm.

If Dr. Wells wasn't the Reverse-Flash who killed Barry's mother, then Dr. Wells must be the Hunter Zolomon RF.

Glad they're introducing time travel as I can see Barry wanting to use it and perhaps cause the Flashpoint world where his mother is alive, him having no powers, and Oliver Queen running Green Arrow Industries.

I hated Iris West doing what she did to try to ruin Barry's date with Linda Park. She needs to move on with Eddie Thawne, whom she decided to be with.

Great episode overall.

Is that really what happened? I haven't had a chance to watch the episode yet (I will in about an hour), but damn.lol

Not really the best way to make a character, especially one who has the best chance of becoming Mrs. Allen on this show due to canon, likable to the audience.

You have her friend zoning Barry and even after he confesses to her, she makes it not only awkward but agrees that it's best to keep him in that place after she's moving in with another guy. And now she's jealous and trying to ruin his attempts to move on?

Why does this sound eerily familiar to Lana and MJ?lol

They're playing the "I don't want you, but no one else can have you" thing with Iris.

You knew it was coming.

The thing is, that's not how it came across in the scene, unless Iris spoke some more about it off-screen. It looks like they're building that drama out of nowhere.

Unfortunately, it does and this is Smallville's legacy that's translating with Arrow, Flash, and Gotham.

Iris is like she doesn't want Barry with anyone nor does she want to be with him either and Barry quickly found out about it as he and Linda briefly broke up after Iris and Linda had their talk about Barry's unrequited love to her. Fortunately Barry and Linda will go out on their third date after Barry stayed true to Linda by having spice in front of her.

I always felt that by revealing him as the RF, it was only a tease and would still have some twist. Now we know there has to be a second one out there.

Damn it, Robbie Amell through some doubt on that by saying Cisco may have lied to Joe.

That's how it came off to me. There was no reason for Iris to give that much info to Linda outside of messing with her mind. Plus, she looked all salty when she saw Barry make up with Linda.

I knew it was going to be a tease and that they wouldn't reveal it in public. Dr. Wells could be either based on the Superfriends version or be revealed as Hunter Zolomon. Especially back in the Man In The Yellow Suit when Reverse Flash beat the tar out of Dr. Wells. There must be 2 Reverse Flashes running around.

It wasn't quite that bad. Linda wanted to know why Barry kept running out on her and what he was like with his other girlfriends. Iris told her that he hadn't had any before but he did once have an unrequited love, and it can be tough getting over that. She said it in such a wistful way that Linda figured out that the unrequited love was Iris.

Awesome episode that really kicked things into gear and whatever wells is hiding is clearly about to come out as now more and more around are getting suspicious and its only a matter of time before barry gets in his face. I gotta say for a show in its first season there ability to keep raising the stakes and teases week after week is outstanding.

Yeah, it's about reading between the lines.

I just finished watching the episode. Yeah, you were right with your description of it.

Man, if I didn't know that there was a set photo showing
Barry and Iris kissing
then I'd feel better about Barry's future love life.

In any case, I thought the rest of the episode was very solid.

Damn, that woman that was living in Barry's old house was one hungry woman.haha

And the effects for Firestorm's sequences were top notch. I really liked the part of Firestorm carrying Barry mid air and soaring throughout the sky.

It definitely looked more impressive than most of Smallville's flying scenes.

Another good episode that confirmed that Wells was not the Reverse Flash who went back in time and killed Barry's mom and that the "Red" Flash back then was an adult Barry who had traveled back in time to save his mom but had failed in doing so. So Cisco was right - he said there were two Reverse Flash's and the blood in Barry's old house confirmed it. And also Chase Masterson was pretty good playing the woman who lives there currently. (She was on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) I actually met her in person at a con, way back when. She still looks really good for her age.

We also got to see the true origin of a live-action Firestorm which was pretty cool when he actually went "nuclear". I doubt that's the last we see of him and I can't wait to see more of him.

Also the rumors were true that they're doing a time travel episode next week in "Fallout". We'll see the 'fallout' (after affect) of what happened to Ronny / Stein / Firestorm. I don't think they'll be doing a Flashpoint type of episode since it'd take more than 42 minutes to tell the entire story (maybe something similar, but we'll have to wait and see), which the animated movie did rather well IMHO.

What was that song playing while Barry was getting dressed? Very cool.

Well,I knew they'd have to do all those "Barry's so 'fast' now--ya get it? wink wink, nudge nudge, yuk yuk" jokes. Hopefully we've got them out of the way for the rest of the series now.:whatever:

I liked seeing Cisco & Joe working together. Cisco's reaction to Joe's speculation felt very natural. I think it's very unlikely they would find anything useful in that house after 15 years,but....

Firestorm came across well. I liked Amell's performance. He felt like he was playing an older guy.

The whole Iris thing is taking on a new level of annoyance. But, I'm not liking Linda much better. She's too much and obviously not going to be around for the long haul.

The ending where Caitlin insists on coming with Barry was well done.

I'm hoping we get to see Firestorm in "costume" before long.
