The Flash The Flash season 2 episode 22 "Invincible"

I hope Katie Cassidy joins the Flash as a recurring villain next season. Where was this Dinah Laurel?

I wonder if Tina McGhee will join the cast as a regular next season and work at Star Labs.

Barry needs other field operatives like Wally and Jesse like Arrow has his.

Can you imagine Earth-2 Dinah Laurel Lance Vs. White Canary Sara Lance?

Barry's "all will be well" attitude seems too heavy-handed for an Easter egg. Looks like last ep's Speed Force entity has a connection to the Blue Lanterns.

How come Harry wasn't at the dinner scene at the end? Did I miss him somewhere?

Did Barry really run to get his suit while trying to save [BLACKOUT]his father[/BLACKOUT]? Like really? :funny:

I assume he went to get the suit so he can get the device that makes him run faster. The one they've spending multiple episodes developing cause he not as fast as Zoom.

I think it's possible that he was probably recovering (off-screen) from the Earth 2 vibe/sound effect that had previously taken place.

it's more of a fact that there are cops & tasks forces out and they'll have the same reaction as Tina McGhee's character and remember what patty did to earth 2 wells (AKA harry ). it's not safe for him to Rome the streets with stressed out cops. and you out explaining things, he blame the other cops for him self not telling them what the real deal is .

other wise it'll season 3 arrow with how Malcolm went where he pleased broad daylight and at night and he could have pole dance inront of the police station star city police would have noticed

Yeah, the Flash crew never really told people Harrison Wells had a twin brother or anything like that.

yep and if they did some one a real good detective or a fed would look into that again this isn't arrow where the only good detective is captain (or former captain) lance which he's not unless he's Hunting the arrow in weird fit of rage.

Such a downer ending. :(

John and Amanda's character were almost breaking the 4th wall with how glad they were to see each other.
I wanted to see more Henry.
You might have been the only one.
Nope.

[BLACKOUT]
So 100 no name bad guys? Easy
But does nothing and watches his Dad die even though he should be fast enough to save him[/BLACKOUT]
Exactly, Barry facing Hunter moments in this one are pretty stupid, I wanted the idiot to punch him so hard.

The last 2 eps make all the fillers and junk we sit through the season worth it. I am very excited for the finale. I guess the speedforce was preparing Barry for his father's death.

Katie Cassidy played a much better villain than she ever did a hero.

Wait so no-one thought it was weird that Henry said "Me and your mother love you.." at the end?

He knew he was gonna die, what's weird about it?

It's like he was talking as if Barrys mom was still alive. Wouldn't feel weird if he said "I love you" on something. I dunno just felt strange to me, Barrys mom has been dead for years why say "me and your mom love you"

I think he was just reassuring barry it was ok, I mean henry knew death was imminent at that point and only had seconds.

I was shocked they killed him off but then again the episode was getting too happy and everybody acting like they won.

I liked him being confident and reassuring the others. It was the rest of the team though trying to make him afraid that ticked me off.

They should have given Barry his Flash ring by now. I'm not sure why they are waiting so long. He should have had it since the beginning of the season.

I'm still annoyed at the idea of Zoom and Barry racing next week. This guy just killed your father and you're going to race him like everything is ok? He should be looking to fight this guy ASAP. No games, no talk like this week. There better be some kind of swerve where he snaps Zoom's neck.

God, optimistic Barry was a pain. Wanted to punch him in his smiling face.

Always thought she would be better at playing a villain. With the path she took in season 2, I was actually hoping that she'd just lose it and go evil. I liked her as Black Siren, and am still glad she isn't playing the Black Canary anymore. So hopefully they're not going to pull some redemption arc out of their asses. Let her stay evil.

Good episode, I liked how Wally was helping even without speed. I loved the little moment between Henry and Tina, nice little Easter Egg for the fans.

I'm ok with how it ended, as it allows Barry to once again prove that no matter what happens he won't turn evil. Unless, you know, Rainbow Raider, but that doesn't count.

I'm sorry, but the villain performance thing wasn't better. Based off of that, she's not better a playing evil. You wanted an alcoholic and drug addict to become evil for no reason and with no motivation? That doesn't make much sense to me. Have a very great day you and everyone!

God bless you! God bless everyone!

Wally finally knows that Barry is the Flash. That has been a long time coming.
Henry is dead, he no longer was really serving a purpose, It was a little too predictable but whatever.

I didn't really get the explanation of the Earth-2 Tuning Fork thing, if the idea was to disrupt the matter how would head phones protect against it.

Barry having the suit in the final scene was also a little odd unless he's taken to wearing it under his closes or something. The Flash Ring should really be introduced, we had a brief mention of the RF's one when he came back in that timey-whimey episode.

On one hand I get Barry's new attitude, he was essentially talking to a god but on the other hand it told him his powers wouldn't protect him from everything so if anything he should have a more balanced outlook. The way he snapped when people tried to point out he wasn't invincible irked me a little as well.

Zoom being able to open a breach seemed pulled from nowhere. He was clearly stuck on Earth 2 prior Vibe opening up that old breach. Talking of that old breach, it probably should have been reclosed or at least some security to alter them when someone is coming through. Prior to the revelation that Zoom could open breaches at will that would have been the only way for Zoom to take his army through and therefore they could have been altered sooner, barring that it would have foreshadowed Zoom being able to open breaches by mentioning that they didn't detect anything coming through.

Standard destroy the world stakes though. Between that vision and the promo for the finale I can't help but think the race idea is playing into the Zoom's plot somehow (Because when things spin, science happens).

I hope Black Siren comes back as an antiheroine. I want her to stick around as the Punisher of DCCW. She'd probably have to recur as a villain first and eventually develop into a cold blooded dispenser of justice. She would play off of the Flash well with him wanting to take her in, but at the same time understanding her POV like Matt and Frank in Daredevil.

Shes best when she gets to be snarky, i loved her as LL when she was written as confident and taking crap from others.
