Yeah, it's like "obviously I can't if I couldn't get you".You overlooked "You can have any girl you want."
Ran into this girl last night who I guess "friend zoned" me...although I stopped talking to her after she shot me down, so I guess that doesn't count. Long story short, she was a lot less hot than she was the last time I saw her, granted in was a Sunday night, but she'd lost her shape (still had big ****, her body just wasn't as put together as it's been in the past -- probably stopped running and training as much as she used to). Anyways she came onto me a bit. She obviously isn't attracting as much attention as she used to, or at least that was the impression I got from our short conversation.
-- So, in conclusion, I think I've found one semi-positive to the friend zone. If they don't see you for a long time, and you come back looking 20x better than you looked when they knew you, it can be an almost instant win. I probably could've banged her if we weren't simply passing each other in the supermarket.
I would have banged her right there in the meat department
seriously though, SB only backs up a point I made earlier . . . the only way to avoid or escape the friend zone is to NOT become a friend . . . you can be an acquaintance, but not a friend . . .
because while the friend is waiting for the girl to come around after she's broken up w/ her boyfriend, the acquaintace is the one that will end up banging her . . .
Isn't this whole being with a partner about love and not associated with sex? At least for a little while it seems everything mentioned in this thread involves it more than the feelings that don't come about from such acts.
Have I been watching too many disney movies that weren't a goofy movie?
One of these days I gotta contribute to this thread. I probably have 4 pages of various "Nivek Tales of Hook Up Woe" to add here.

Yes, it is about love . . . and I'm sorry if sometimes my posts seem to refer specifically to sex; but sex is a part of this equation . . . obviously everyone in the friend zone wants to have sex with the person that 'friended' them . . .
my point here is to make your intentions clear towards that other person; that you want to have a romantic relationship with them, not be their 'buddy' . . . and it basically boils down to two types of people: people in the friend zone; and people that actually get the girl . . .
I was a little worried about that. I may be narcissitic or something but I enjoy self-pleasure more than sex and like sex because it says that you are comfortable with that person.
I just think that sex is a poor basis for a relationship because it is a small window for what I hope would be more than that because you can only have enjoyable sex for so long.![]()
Because of this.... you need to that. Pronto. Now it seems like I may be in the position I've dreaded. She's saying we may not work out, & has asked me if, that being the case, I would be willing to remain friends. She has also suggested scaling back to simple casual dating. I'm thinking I need to make a complete break & try to purge her from my memory.
